  1. NO enemy planes in RNAS1 campaign!

My best advice is to go right to OBD at the homepage and send them the details in an email to product support. Give them all the info you can. They do frequent the threads in this forum but you will get a more prompt response to you specific problem by email. This link bottom of page has the SUPPORT button http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ.htm Best wishes, Jim
  2. Laptop

I raised my laptop to increase the gap for increased airflow. Instead of guessing what the temp was I downloaded an Nvidea program the gives a temp. While running OFF for an extended time the heat reached 76C in think that's around 175F or so. Does anyone know if this is a safe high temp for an Nvidea 9300m?
  3. OT A little Joke for you all

    Classic humor guys
  4. Dan-San Abbott

Thanks for the heads up Shred.
  5. Red Dog my man, looking very good at this point. Spot on I'ld say. Please see the PM I sent regarding the the wing lower surface. I found an informative link. I could not find the kit I built as it is packed away in case I move. The link shows that the blue and dots carried over to the underside of the planes on this crate. My best to you.
  6. The latest Spad in the Rickitycrate hangar. Thanks to Red Dog.
  7. It's Time To Play,"What's My Plane" !

Thanks for letting us know. I can sleep tonight.
  8. OT: Austell on national tv.

Be safe. Sounds like you've got your sense of humor intact. Best wishes, Jim
  9. It's Time To Play,"What's My Plane" !

Thanks Dej, I got lucky and got there first this time. It's still a race it seems. So I was trying to get my answer in what do I see at the bottom of the page but the names of Olham, Red Dog and a few others. I was sweating it and needed the points to stay with the pack.
  10. Recon Photos etc

Regarding flynn's pic in post#5. I am pleased to see so many smiling faces on the men in light of what they were doing.
  11. It's Time To Play,"What's My Plane" !

Ding, Ding, Ding. The photo shows the Beardmore Shipboard Fighter type W.B. III. 80 h.p. Le Rhone. This aircraft was based on the Sopwith Pup airframe but extensively modified for shipboard accomadation. Although embarked on a number of Royal Navy vessels it was not a particularly successful type. With folding wings and retractable landing gear shown in storage mode. Built by the Wm. Beardmore & Co., Dalmurnr. Glasgow, Scotland Also of note: the struts were four long struts 2 on either side of the fuselage instead of 4 short center section struts.. The main planes are unstaggered and hinged at the main rear spar close to the fuselage. The armament consists of a Lewis gun fitted on a special mounting in front of the pilots cockpit to allow to fire through an opening in the center section. Source: Janes
  12. P4 Request

Gotha can be had now. Makes a nice target and is a kick to fly. Use Madmatt's installer and access the plane in CFS3 QC. I look forward to the heavies too but in the meantime there's plenty of fun to be had.
  13. I am soooooo happy.....

So true iti. That is why I am so fascinated with this sim and the history. Men such as us, under different circumstance did/acheived these things. In my case much better men. Talk of the Be2c did you see the Recon photo's posted by flynn? Taken by his grandfather aboard a Be2c. So high in the sky in a rickety crate with sheer hell below him. That's not playing.
  14. Sounds like you are excited jaa. You should be. Welcome to the world of OFF BH&H. Simply the best and you will consider yourself one of the fortunate one's wether your pilot lives or dies. Are you on the OFF map? Why not let Olham know where you at and make it official? Best wishes with your OFFing. You know where to come for help, advice and friendship.
  15. Reworked 94th areo

Thank you Red Dog! She's spot on sir, well done. I've taken her up already and she's fab. I'll be posting some pics in screenshots later. Your reworking of her really shows. My best to you with many thanks, Jim
  16. Lou, I saw this in Screenshots and loved it. I'm fond of that dragoncrate also. The perspective of the camera made me curious, how do you accomplish that fix outside view?
  17. Recon Photos etc

Flynn, very interesting. Such a great altitude they were taken from. It is great that you have these and so good of you to share them
  18. now this isn't cheating is it?

All is fair in love and war.
  19. Oh Bearded One, I hope your not kiddin' me. Maybe one day I'll have the whole set of Showbird Spads of the 94th. I hope that does not sound too greedy. I hope one day that we might fly unigue skins from our squadmates. I'ld love to see the whole set of 94th showbirds on the field at the same time. With the work you and Red Dog are doing on these skins along with U.S. flag skin Olham did I'll have one of my silly dreams come true. I'm a modeler of sorts and I hope to one day build my model kits and paint them after these very patterns. So far I've done Kaye's Easter Egg Spad. The scale was 1/48. I want to do these in the old Revell 1/28 kits along with Rickenbacker and Luke and a few others. As you can see it would be a huge project. Thanks again to all skinners.
  20. Seems there is more than one skin for Herr Hans Jeschonnek. This is one I flew against tonight.
  21. Spad XIII US94 Ken Dawson

awesome job Beard. I took her up and gave her a good lookover and could not be more pleased to have her. Thank you sir.
  22. Bravo Lou I had a smile on my face the whole time.
  23. Well Burning Beard had promptly uploaded the Shamrock and you know me. I love to show my skins. Here we have Beard's Shamrock, Olham's Feuervogel and I believe the OFF stock Jehonnesheck DVa, I'm sorry I can't remember the spelling. I thought I had read that this man was a relative of Olham's but maybe I'm way off course. I will check and correct myself. My thanks again to all skinners and the creative people that make OFF so fabulous. The Olham relative is Hans Jeschonnek and the Alb DVa with the bull on black fuselage is his.
  24. Lt. Ken Dawson "Shamrock"

I didn't need to beg. Thanks for creating this skin and sharing. I'm on it!
  25. Hey guys thanks for thinking of me. Olham, yes there is a walkway to each position. The Gotha only seems to be missing the wire bracings and some weathering. More little details are missing too. But it is very functional and certainly better than no Gotha.
