  1. Rex, you did this? I love you man! Historicly accurate and very useful. My hat's off for all you do.
  2. The squeaky wheels get the grease. As for me I guess maybe I squeal for joy. Pol, Winder, OBD any any regular forum member knows how I feel about OFF BH&H. I am grateful to all who have made and support this labor of love. Also, I am grateful to MK2 and this forum. Especially those I have come to think of as my brother flyers which is most of ya' all. Dear Sirs, OBD team, Winder and Pol. Please do take a blessed break for your good. May you have some rest and enjoyment and quality time with your loved ones. Relax and enjoy yourselves. Know that 98% of your customers cannot be wrong and will continue to fly and carry on the good fight while you get some R and R. My continued support, appreciation, thanks and best wishes to you. Churchill comes to mind: "never have so few done so much for so many" if that's not exact quote I'll claim it as mine, hehe. Jim

Condor, I don't know if I understand much but let me ask this. Are you flying Quick Combat or Campaign? I think that at the end of Q/C that's it, no info, no claim report, just time logged. In Campaign you get the information and the opportunity to enter a claim if you bagged an E/A. Oh heck I don't know.
  4. planes in Movies

I think I read the Pfalz is now owned by Peter Jackson the director and builder of WWI replica planes.
  5. Hellshade I'm there with you in Oblivion. Woodelf here, expert sneak and marksman. Primary residence is Benirus Manor in Anvil. It's a wonderful game that gets none of my attention since OFF. My wife plays it on her computer tho while I'm OFFing. That works out very nicely. Prior to this pc I played FPS on XBox and PS2 and a couple flight games. Recently got Bioshock from a friend and look forward to that. Oh and if you didn't know I'm the "hero of Kvatch"
  6. Flying the "new" SPAD XIII

Yes eventually, when I campaign my way to that date. I flew the DVII in a Scenario for the first time today. Man there is so much to do. I'm still flying 1915 crates. Anyway the American squads have my american heroes and I look forward to being in the sky with them. I will use labels when I get there. You know if the addon planes include early birds I'll end up going backwards before I get to 1918.
  7. Neat AI Trick

Ah, so it was you that took the bait, hehe.
  8. Flying the "new" SPAD XIII

Thanks for the report On the Spad. That's encouraging to me as it is a very important plane in my future.
  9. Bahhhh. I find now that yes the AA will alert me to the presence of E/A before I can see them. Happened today for the first time that I noticed and used the fact to my advantage. Bahhh.
  10. Loss of wireless connection

Thanks Steve I will investigate on your ideas.
  11. The Last Change for P3....

Thank you sir for your elloquence. I agree with your points and as a matter of fact I explain to my wife that it seems that the super patch made OFF a new game for me. Someone here called the patch "OFF 3.5", I find that well said also.
  12. Going on Vacation to Washington DC

Good for you! The Smithsonian was my first thought. Please do post some pics here. Have a fun time. Don't you just want to touch it?
  13. Mission and Flight Time no Recorded

Being a computer simpleton I keep things simple. I run things straightup out of the box unless official patches are recommended by the devs. OFF BH&H for me is running great with no issues and I feel blessed because it means so much to me to have it. Homeboy I am bummed out to hear of your troubles. I know this sim means a lot to you too and you have been such a great asset to the community. Homeboy I wish I had some answer for you. I know my caring doesn't help. Really though my best wishes to you and Condor to get things sorted out and returned to happy flying.
  14. The Last Change for P3....

I love what I have. Only want more of your beautiful planes sir. I'm a greedy sort but not unappreciative.
  15. Finding it hard to die

Pilot brogers, worry not for death shall come. Not when you expect but rather when you are of a mind to revell in some accomplishment. You may think your young and full of piss and vinegar, that death shall pass you by for ever but be warned the cold clutch of the reaper will claim your pilot soul and then... you create a new guy to send up and get his backside full of lead.
  16. Mission and Flight Time no Recorded

So are you good to go now? Have you got it sorted and running with the new patch?
  17. drop in fps

I do not see a drop in fps. When I get into demanding situations where I can expect to see a drop it does drop as before last patch but with this patch it still displays smoothely. That does not make sense to me. And every single thing looks better to me with patch.
  18. Neat AI Trick

    Love it!
  19. I don't brake. I use throttle. It's not perfection to operate either one. Just a lttle diversion and bit of fun.
  20. Oh they look so nice CJ. Thanks for posting, gotta get me some.
  21. Oh heckno. Funny thing about the bike is that for the longest time I felt that with the overall emphasis on historic accuracy and being a sim and not a game that the dev team would not want such things to be brought to light in the forum. I tend to be a guy that goes a little outside the box and look to push things aound and see if they move, hehe. I know you guys have a great sense of humor thanks for that and all you've done for us.
  22. Oh I have Pol. Works great and looks cool.
  23. flight density

You as leader of flight group 2 would follow group 1. Can you imagine the historic aces in group 1 following someone like me around, yeah right. I do not follow too close to group 1 as I find some seperation and when possible additional altitude to be helpful when engaged in dogfight. Those historic aces seldom die whereas my sorry boney butt is always on the line.
  24. Reporting for flight duty.

    Welcome back. Ain't life grand?
