Who said, Halberstadt can't be fun?
Rickitycrate replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Good luck, let us know. If you flew the sim correctly, ahem, you would have flown the EIII for some time before the Halb and believe me you would think the Halb was awesome. Just kidding buddy about flying correctly but it is a little backasswards. -
Almost everyone is in it or will be in one way or another. As far as who is on the cover I did say it was a work in progress, and you're giving me an idea.

SE5a a dream to fly in campaign (pics included)
Rickitycrate replied to MK2's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
MK2, I'm glad you are enjoying the SE5. Besides the improveved visibility I think the Viper has an engine replacement and therefore perhaps more horsepower. Isn't it something that you have flown this sim fo close to 4 months and are just now giving the SE5 a proper go? I know I fly alot and there are many planes I have not touched as of yet. I have a great deal to look forward to. Nice pics, thanks for sharing. -

I feel the urge too but I can't find a workaround for my moronchip failure. -
No shame here. I selected the 50-54 group and hope to one day select the 80-84 group. Poll again in 30 years, okay?

Don't worry about mignuliz, it is a porn advert. Some reply that would be.

Trackir came and it is running well. I was wondering if I might get some pointers from you Tir vets as to setting up profiles or downloading, the smoothing slider, and joystick button assignments. I know how to do these things but am curious about your settings. I am using Logitech Wingman Force 3D and that has really added to my experience as well. Another aspect of Trackir I have wondered about is, do you guys use it for mouselook in any FPS games? Thanks to Olham, UK_Widowmaker and a very special thanks to SIGGI

Well welcome back! Geez we've been fighting a war here and you're out threre doing lord knows what. Get the sim ordered and get into flying shape asap! Don't want no excuses. Just make sure you report to the correct aerodrome with your kit. Try not to plant your first crate in the dirt on take-off. And one more thing, shoot the poor bastards.

Thanks for all the input to this thread. One thing that I found was that my bifocals were not the thing for TIR. My head movements to see the screen through my glasses made the tracker too busy. I got a decent pair of single focus readers today and that is making a big difference for me. The screen is more steady and my peripheral vision is more in focus. Olham, I have yet to try your profile but I will. One thing I see right now is that my track head is slow to return to center so I need to recenter alot. Probably just something in my setup.

How well will OFF run on my system
Rickitycrate replied to VonAce's topic in WOFF 1 2 3 / UE - General Help
My specs are lower than yours and it runs very well. Vista 32. You should be good to go. -
Flying without crutches
Rickitycrate replied to Interlocutor's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Yes Griphos, I swear. And you have to cross the front. I always cross at 10,000 ft plus but still get nailed. I just could not seem to avoid it. My best DID pilot was brought to an end that way. Who knows if he may have lived another day and gotten more of his claims confirmed, oh well. I am currently inactive and before I start a new campaign I will switch to NORMAL for sure. I knew it was too accurate but I wanted to be flying DiD and thought we were all set to Realistic for AA. -

I've been realistic AA for DiD and 75% 0f my dead pilots are from Archie. If I understand it can now be set to normal so normal it is for me. -

Hey Dave if you're a hillbilly you're a Alien Hillbilly. I saw your setup and some of the stuff you're cookin' up in your shop. Way beyond my feeble powers to grasp. Thanks again for your contributions here. -

Well you sure deserve to have these things MK2 and all the more because you share them with us. Thanks. I'ld like this thread to not get lost in the pile can it be stickied somewhere? -
Sometimes while I'm driving my truck I'll see an airplane in the distance and find myself reaching for the "Labels" button. Wifey tells me to calm down.
