  1. The future president of what, might I ask?
  2. British, if you are more than fishing here I wish you well. If you are fishing I wish you well also. For me I would be happy for anything you might make. If I were to choose I would say the Hansa Brandenberg W.29.
  3. I find all of this very interesting of course. I am humbled yet again. I hope to see the program. Makai in hawaiian mean's "toward the sea" or some such. The nic makes very good sense to me now. Many thanks to all the team members who make the time in their real lives to work so dilligently on our wonderful sim.
  4. Viel dank, Herr Olham das fogel ist schon. Wie viel uhr ist fruhstuken?
  5. Something in my bones says you are right. I have felt it for the past 2 days. I like that poster Olham. Isaved a copy for myself.
  6. Yeah, I'ld like to see the camo on the upper wing.
  7. Uncle if there is a Pole in the air I'ld rather not smell him, nor him me.
  8. ZZ, Oh yeah "the Leaker" is there quite often. I just hope he's using a coffee tin or something. Seems to be a habit of the mechanics. Congrats on your capture! You never know what will transpire in OFFworld. Good thing you got a photo.
  9. For what it's worth I did not get Empire for the fact of Steam. I would dearly love the Sea Battles aspect of the game and maybe the rest as well but I'm just not giving up on my computer/connection freedom. I see that another game gets flight and damage model "upgrades" against the wishes of the user and the user has no ability to revert to previous versions. I thank God that OBD manages the downloads and content the way they do. I never feel at odds with OBD and I don't expect I ever will.
  10. Aloha Makai, OFF No Ka Oi! We don't see you often enough around here but when you show up you have great news. Thanks again for all your hard work and to the rest of the skinners and the whole OBD team a big Mahalo, Thanks!
  11. That sounds great Beard! You know I'm hot for them birds.
  12. BH, I did not say the X45 was still available. I got mine secondhand, like new, for $10 but no software. After years of twisty sticks the throttle rocker has been a challenge but I'm catching on. Thanks for sending the profile.
  13. Logic is on SD's side. Experience is with BH. Hey as long as it works. I saw the X52 today and I can't see any advantage over the X45 for OFF. Actually it seems a step back with the twisty rudder. BH, I'ld like to see you X45 profile please?
  14. I bought this today hoping it was the DVD, says right on the package, PC CD ROM, yeah bright, huh? So it's the 2 discer. I have not reinstalled. I don't think I will. I have an extra copy now. Maybe I'll run P2 on my Dell XP with it. But it's in a DVD case, you guys!
  15. Bullethead, that Jutland game looks like something I would really like. You worked on that one? I'm going bak to the site to read about it.
  16. That's exciting Sandbagger. Sounds like a lot of work just to do the research let alone the skinning. Thanks for the info.
  17. Here's a little nocturnal mission. Stop the French Spy it's called. Fly to Douai airfield and get you next instruction.... I found the truck at the airfield but did not understand what to do from that point as I did not seem to get further instructions. But it was fun anyway.
  18. Interesting approach Rooster. So you have a face to go with the names. That would make you care even more. More immersion.
  19. Big help I am. I have a book "Aircraft in Profile Vol.1" with color pics but I do not have a working scanner right now. I do have an extra copy of the book tho. Show five aircraft including McCudden's not Mannocks.
  20. Sorry Olham. Maybe there is such a website if you look. I wish this could be international. Most days I get at least one book in the mail. Yesterday I sent 9 books out. I get feedback from the people that get my books and they say that I wrap my books to make them bulletproof. Maybe that's because I get shot at so much in OFF, hehe.
  21. Keep this one alive. Perhaps he will be your Udet.
  22. Stump, if you have some titles let me know and I'll watch for them otherwise anything like that that becomes available I would scarf up any way.
  23. Gromit, I see now why you waited a few days to start your first campaign. You are serious about this. A wonderful report you shared with my coffee, thanks.
  24. Bird Dog, Well I do have some books I would make available if you were on the Swap. Mr. Lucky calling me lucky. Nice way to start my day after church, thanks. I love the A/M series and the lucky part is that I actually have read them all. I only wish there were the equivilant in the WWI Airwar Theatre. Perhaps someone from our forum will be the O'Brian of this subject. Many of the books I get credit for sending I either got for free or 10 cents or a quarter. So for many of the wonderful books I receive I consider that I have them for the sake of the postage and a little bit of work.
