I will run two sessions this Saturday! One will run from 2-5pm EST and the other will run from 8-11pm EST. Please have Teamspeak up and running for these sessions. I will give out the host IP over teamspeak. The only other aircraft used in these sessions besides stock will be the Gotha and the Zeppelin. If there are enough pilots in either session I will run a team dogfight along with some co-op missions. See you then! Remember- AXGRINDER WANTS YOU!

I can see this type of scenario working if we had a dedicated server that ran 24-7 unfortunately we don't have one - YET! The only way to play MP as you know is to have someone host the game IP to IP so it's tough to have guys pop in and out whenever. However, the type of mission you describe can easily be put together by one of us and flown online. I don't know if you have Mission Builder up and working but if you do I encourage you to create and build the types of missions you would like to fly.

We will try to have sessions that will be in the evening your time. If I start a game at 3pm my time (EST) it should be early enough for pilots from across the pond to join up for a couple of missions. By the way - you do not have to fly the entire session! You can pop in for an hour or just one mission if you want. REMEMBER - AXGRINDER WANTS YOU!

This question has probably been asked and answered before but here goes. Is there a way to Run OFF without having the CFS3 disk in the computer? The way we used to do it with RB3d so the disk wont wear out.

I for one do not want OFF MP to become nothing but a dogfight game. I enjoy the co-op mission aspect of what we are doing now. I don't mind the occasional team dogfight but to much gets boring. I have a bad feeling we will be split into two camps. Those who want a dogfight server like RB3d and those who want co-op and team dogfight missions like we are doing on OFF MP now. But like TV if I don't like it I can turn it off.

When I post a game session I will put the date on the post title. In the post I will put the time that I will be on teamspeak and once we have enough people for a mission IP's will be given out by whoever is hosting. We switch back and forth between hosts during game session because not everyone has the same missions or we are testing host capabilities of other players. This is a good time to join in sessions because alot of problems are being worked on and resolved lately. It won't be to long now and we will have a smooth running MP game.

The game is hosted IP to IP because Microsuck does not support CFS3 anymore.

Bravo Matt! You have may email already. Send it to me and I will put it up on the D&H site. You should be able to post it on the "files needed for MP" stickie as well.

We would love more missions that we can fly Central Powers. Would you be willing to create some for our group?

I agree with Duck. This would be a good time for others to try and host. It would be great if we could get guys from the west coast and across the pond hosting. It would make it easier for your local pilots to join at more convenient times. As far as missions, the skies the limit as far as I'm concerned. If anyone builds a mission using mission builder We would love to fly them. Co-op, opposing sides it doesn't matter. I don't have a problem with guys sharing, trading or tweaking other peoples missions. I will gladly share my missions so guys can change them or even make them better as I am not that proficient in mission builder. The only thing I ask is that we stick with the stock planes, the Gotha and the zeppelin when building missions. So far everyone is pretty receptive in the idea of keeping our small MP community simple. No fancy 3rd party aircraft or file manipulation are to be used in MP, let's keep it as easy as possible for others to join and enjoy the MP aspect of OFF. I will run a LIVE Multiplayer tutorial today 5/31 starting at 3 pm EST. THIS IS NOT A MISSION SESSION!!! This tutorial will use stock aircraft only!! No Gotha or Zeppelin. This session will be a basic tutorial just to get pilots flying online. Please have Teamspeak to participate. If you do not have TS the link to the download and instructions are available in the forum stickies. If any other D&H vets would like to join in this tutorial you are more than welcome. The more brains the better! We have many pilots up and flying now but I would like to see more!

I am considering running a Multiplayer game Saturday or Sunday mid afternoon. I will start the session at 2 or 3 pm EST so our friends across the pond can join in the fun. The only thing I ask if you plan on flying is to please have Teamspeak! The link to the TS download is in the MP Stickie up top. The only custom planes we will use are the Gotha and the Zeppelin, both of which are available in a Multiplayer stickie. There are a couple of versions of the Gotha floating around so we need to make sure the correct one is used by everyone. I think the correct version is also available on this site inside Stumpjumpers' Gotha mission downloads. (He will correct me if I'm wrong) With that being said if you are interested in this MP session post a response here and also indicate Saturday or Sunday as a preferred date. AXGRINDER WANTS YOU! It does not matter if you have the mission loaded or not. Only the host has to have the mission. In my case the only aircraft outside of a stock OFF game needed are the Gotha and Zepp, both are available in this forum for download. As far as deleting older posts you need to take that up with the administrators of the site. NOTE TO EVERYONE!!! MAKE SURE YOU ARE UPGRADED TO THE LATEST PATCH, 1.30c, AND HAVE THE DAMAGE MODEL AT HARDCORE!!!
