Just to remind everybody, Vasco's Volunteers is not indicative of what we fly in MP. His style of missions and game play are what he chooses to do. No one is expected to only fly with Vasco on Sunday's. Everyone who hosts online games have their own way of doing it. Anyone who has flown with myself or Duck online knows what I mean. That being said if anyone wants to step up and host regular games on Saturday's by all means do so. Then you can run them however you want. I don't mind flying with Vasco it's a little more challenging but if you want to have a more relaxed type of game any other time bring it on and we will fly it. Many of the pilots have built all kinds of different MP missions to suit any taste. If you don't have them or don't use mission builder just ask and I am sure the guys will share their missions. Duck, Stumper and myself do it all the time. Let's Fly Boys!

Sorry I missed it Duck. The boys from across the pond were up late last night so I did get a couple of missions in around 6ish though.

Has anyone been able to get either of the Tripes to work in online MP? When ever I put one in a mission as a flyable player AC my game crashes. Any clues?

We use it in the online mission I built where we bomb the German supply ships on the coast. I will have to double check, I may have it backwards. Sorry Vasco!

Thanks Duck I try. As you know, I split my time between IL-2 MP and OFF MP unfortunately I don't fly either as much as I used to. But WW1 has always been my favorite era for flight sims. PD even ribs me sometimes about OFF. And Once Canvas Knights does come out it will be hard to choose which sim to fly. If the developers would invest more time in the MP aspect of OFF it would be easier to choose! A big factor is the guys I come in contact with flying MP. So far everyone has been top notch guys to fly with!

We have used the two gun Tripe online. It's the single gun version that's goofy.

I still have the original RW Avalon Hill game along with the original Luftwaffe Avlalon Hill game. Used to have Avalon Hill's Squad Leader but sold it on ebay a while back. Don't you love the old games! I play them still from time to time.

I think FR might scare off any new players that may be on the fence about joining the Sunday missions. I would at least leave on labels. Turning the tac off wouldn't be that big of a deal. We can do without that. Navigating by map is a hoot but right now only experienced players should use it online.

I should be there. Most likely closer to 7:30 though.

Well, now that Football season and the holiday's are winding down Sunday's will be easier for me! Count me in! By the way I was at the Bengal's game today and it was boring as hell till the last 6 minutes! They did finally clinch AFC champs for the first time in forever!

It is now 8:30 edt. I am no longer on TS. I waited 30 minutes and no one got on TS. Maybe later or next time.

It's 7:30 edt and I am TS right now. Time to get in here and fly boys!

I will try and be around at 7:30 pm. No guarantees. I might be wrangled into last minute x-mas shopping by the wife. A couple of the younger kids are going to be gone and it's easier to slip stuff past em when they're not home!

I am glad to report that after almost a week of PC fixin' I finally have everything working again! I hosted last night and tested some missions using HITR planes and some old favorites. I had "0" problems on my end. We two mismatches but nothing serious. One of the pilots didn't have the Short 184 and the other was something weird but fixed right away. I also noticed that there were no jittering aircraft on my PC. Thanks to the guys that flew last night!

We flew the Dr1's last night and we thought we were escorting the Gothas INTO England not back to France. That explains why they turned tail and ran off as soon as the Se5's showed up! I was ready to have someone shot for cowardice! When we went after the Se5's they ignored us and focused on the Gothas. Then all of the sudden they turned on us and blew us out of the sky! Thanks PD! I can get shot down in IL2 well enough! Take it easy on us in OFF!

Tonight would be a good night to test your MP game and get it squared away! Looks like Duck might have a new mission for us to try out. I have a couple surprised up my sleeve too if everything works OK.

The special effects are eye candy. You just need to make sure you have the same planes Vasco is using in his missions. If you install the Vasco's Aces upgrade in TS you will be fine!

Easy big fella! He's just trying to help you! I suggest you try 4, 3, 3, 3, 3, 2 for your settings. There isn't really any need to have your clouds at 5. They look just as good on 2 or 3. But, IMHO I don't think your graphics settings are causing CTD's. Have you tried a reinstall? Just askin'.
