and definatly a shot in the dark, but go into cfs3config,,,and turn off all your intro videos...movie ui's etc...

Not that i know of... hate to tell you try the "hit or miss" approach,,expescially for campaigns....as they are where you will sink most of your time,,,, As you have questions about specific areas,,,,i would ask them in the general help forum,,,im sure you will get more replies there.

going to assume you mean when you start off,,you get that error which is pretty strange, cause i dont think you have to have media player installed to run off...... but if your sure its related to media player, you could try to reinstall media player.... or if you have your w7 install disk, you may want to open a command promt and type in sfc /scannow. this will rebuild any corrupt files in your windows install...

Well...the boxed that is grayed out IS checked,,,and as its the main application you are installing,,,there would be no reason not to uncheck it.........the start menu shorcut is optional...

the guages themselves are in your aircraft\shared folder. (hud_guages.dds). if you need a viewer for dds files, you can get it here. This is shareware, so there should be no problem posting the link.. http://72.93.71.147:192/pub/ddsview0663a.zip The manner in which these guages get displayed is in documents and setting\xxxxxx\applicationdata (appdat in vistsa)\microsoft\cfsww1 over flanders fields\viewui.xml. But,,i think the only thing you can change here is the size of the guages...and not how sharp they are.

Might want to turn off wind,,and see if it goes away... My computer is suffering right now,,just dont have time to reload the os,,,but i noticed my planes "jerk" alot too...im sure its just the wind, but because the computer is not up to snuff,,,instead of showing up as a subtle shift,,,its an obviouse jerking motion..

lol..ut oh.... BHAH IS cfs3......only with improved scenery, effects, planes etc etc.... And because it is a dynamic, historacal campaign as well...you are going to run up against a lot of settings, and alot of options. But, once you start playing it, and with all the help you will get here at the forum, no doubt in my mind you will find it all worthwhile....... and,,as always..hope you venture into Multiplayer some day.

If i understand your last question correct,,,the answer is no....Phase 3 of overflanders fields is called Between Heaven and Hell (BHAH) It sounds like you already have a version of cfs3 that is already patched to ver 3.1, so you have everything you need, once you get your BHAH dvd. There is a free superpatch (ver 1.32) for OFF3 and a mini patch for OFF3....(www.overflandersfields.com) It you want the latest Expansion Patch for OFF3 (BHAH), then you have to purchase the Hat in the Ring Expansion from obd software (www.overflandersfields.com). there is a mini patch for the Hat in the ring Expansion pack too, available at the same site (in the downloads sections) To sum it up... Purchast BHAH and install it. download the free superpatch for BHAH and install it download the free minipatch for BHAH superpatch and install it purchase the Hat in the ring Expansion and install it download the free mini patch for Hat in the ring and install it... Once you get the BHAH dvd, if you run into any problems, or have any questions, suggetst you post them in the general help, or general discussion forums. This thread doesnt get watched by that many people.

search the effects file for tr_smoke (these are the dds files in your effects folder..tr_smoke4...tr_smoke5 etc etc) eventually you will come to the tr_smoketrail section of the effects file... now,,what you do with all those settings after that is beyone me....

NO!... what you do need is a copy of Microsoft Cfs3.... If you happen to have an older copy of cfs3 already, make sure its installed, patched to ver 3.1, and its run at least once before installing BHAH... will try and find someother posts that are helpfull and add them as i find them. After you have bhah installed from the dvd, go here....http://overflandersfields.com/DownloadsBH&H.htm get the 1.32 super patch, install it,,,then get the 1.32g mini patch. Now you have to decide if you want to purchase the HAT IN THE RING expansion patch... if you do,,,make sure you get the mini patch for it.

ho ho ho... everything shoud be fine.. be sure you get the mini patch for the hitr expansion pack...or you will mismatch on the n17biscq1

only one pilot i know that had problems,,,but doubt its the os,,,,way too many here with it that say it runs great...
