Want to thank mackleroy and av8tor for the session. Had alot of fun. and glad ax could get av8tor squared away with his teamspeak. vongober (sp??), usually, when we get the echo we got when we talk, (like we did tonight) its because someone has thier steromix enabled. take a look at this video, but the part you really want to pay attention to is around 2:06 into the stream. Keep in mind this video is for recording sound in fraps, so dont pay attention to the settings its trying to show. It shows how to get to the stero mix setting, and you have to make sure its disabled.. Now there may be some other settings there you can adjust,,like mic volume, but the important part is having stero mix disabled.

kingkat...all you have to do is post days/times that are good for you, and someone will try and get on with you to square you away im in boston (edt).

imho, a 256 card just is not going to cut it for this game. but, if you are stuck with it for the time being,,,i highly recommend homeboys/rabus settings for your cfs3config. They have always worked best for me on lower end computers. wish i had the link for them on this computer, but i dont. when i find it, will post it,,meanwhile maybe someone that does have the link they can post it. think it started out with "want more eyecandy"

Ive asked the DiD group if someone will save their missions, so we can fly them in campaign. This is not meant to compete with sunday, just looking for something maybe to get us flying during the week. (of which there is very little). Assuming someone agrees to save the missions, will then need ppl to convert, and host. I am getting into my busy season, (stupid holidays), and can assist, but can not commit to anything.

would be great if you could put up some pics..even if they are just components....

opps..yep,,that was my fault GB, and i owe you my sincere apologies...got on teamspeak, and forgot to get back to the forum and post. seems thats 2 areas that we have fallen behind on,,,posting games that are up in the forum, and using the calander. Ppl are just use to getting on teamspeak to see whats going on. But we should probably get back to the basics,,,if a game is up,,post it..and if its a scheduled session,,use the calander (what calander??)

Hi all... Not sure if im going to have time tonight to host, but what i will try and do is find the time to get on and help show you how to host. If you are wireless,,you will need to portforward the router. If this is the case, locate the make and model of the router and post it, and ill look up proceedures for it. In addition, if you have put a username/password on the router, you will need to have that information available. will check this thread everyso often for updates... lol..and av8tor,,dont worry so much about sending a thread off on a tangent,,,happens all the time..

Enables slow WW1 planes to attain "warp" quickly Warp at 62MPH rather than 123MPH! Warp is a function in CFS3 to skip to the next waypoint or action quickly. Normally in CFS3 it's 123MPH before you can use it, however with WW1 planes this is a tough speed to make without climbing then diving carefully which can take a few minutes). No, never did get a reply. Everytime you run a mission, it saves it in your historical folder as off_camp_mission.xml when you run the next mission, it overwrites that file, so you have to copy, rename etc to preserve it. next thing you have to do is open the mission up in mission builder, and make more of the planes flown "flyable", and by flyable, all i mean is that now the planes have cockpits. the ai planes to not have cockpits. If you need help with mission builder, let us know, and ill try and set aside some time to help you out. av8tor,,what plane do YOU fly the most?

Ive got a couple computer repair places on my sales route that save me everything they are going to toss out. Right now I have way too many cd burners, and ethernet cards. Anyone who wants one, all i ask is they pay shipping. Max for the burners would be around 6.00 (the little one rate box), but might be cheaper if i use a padded envelope. Ethernet cards would i assume be around 3 bucks in a padded envelope..(guessing here,,so dont hold me to it). Just picked up around 20 systems, so gotta feeling i may be overloaded with hard drives too, so if your in need of a ata drive (most are 80gig), let me know. And no,,i dont have any good video cards...lol sorry, for the time, would prefer to limit to states only. if customes is not a hassle, will be glad to ship anywhere. A while back suggested we have a sticky for free or swap stuff. Maybe the admins didnt want it to become another "craigs list", but if we kept it to game related, computer related stuff, still think it would be a good idea. pm me if you need anything.
