lol..to be honest...i have NO idea.... I do belive thats what i used to get all the time to,,,but,,,the only time i fly a 17 is when we do campaign,,and seems like most of the campaigns have been in cloudy weather,, so didn think much about the lack of reflection in the mirror. Now that pic was taken in a mission im working on,,,and its sunrise,,,so,,maybe that has something to do with it... And only other thing i can thing of, is that my good video card went south. I had to put an another one in, (no where good as my other one) and the only settings that would work on it are the ones that homeboy/rabu came up with. Maybe it one of those quirky settings they use.... If you want to try the 17's in the mission i used,,,and see if you get them we can run it quick after sundays session.

Go in, and build a simple mission. Seems it always puts the waypoints at some riduculous altituce (4832 meters)... So open the xml in notepad,,and edit out the altitudes to realistic ones....and save the file... reopen the mission in mission builder,,and it resets all the altitudes i have changed back to the original ones.. how come??????

just curious....anyone focused in on why nvidia is better in this game than ati? ie,,is it a fact,,,or an assumption?

hi nesop,,hope your enjoying all this! but,,fyi,,researched that 4890, cause my 4870 went south,,,, Gotta admit it got my attention,,nice specs and all, but i did come across some posts that said the 4890 is just a 4870 that has been factory overclocked. Considering the 50 buck price difference,,,and the fact that with just a dual core @ 3.2 ghz my processor will probably not be able to keep up with a 4870, I decided to just get another 4870. and the 4890 2gb card looks really nice too,,but same thing,,,cpu isnt fast enough to take advantage of the video card...

Am on teamspeak for anyone wanting help with mp or teamspeak. will check THIS thread everyso often for anyone who cant get into teamspeak.....and will try and help them thru forum posts.0 session off.....]

src...your opinion, as well as anyone elses,,no matter how long or short they have been playing,,is just important as the next guys... will be online around 730edt....and will try and stay on for at least till around 1030 edt.... if no one is around for any help,,,will attempt to build some missions.

Axgrinder did a great job of setting precedent a while back....plain and simple,,,the host determines the manner in which the game is played. Would assume that in these session where we switch host to get a better connection for everyone,,the person scheduling will still retain the contol over game settings and such. So, seems to me in order to accomodate everyone who has different ideas on whats fun, and whats not fun,,,what we need is more hosts,,,offereing more variety in the sessions. Personnaly,,,I like shooting down stuff,,,so give me unlimited ammo,,,lottsa stupid ai to shoot down,,,but thats just me...so if this what i want,,i have to put up sessions along those lines,,and the same would go for the rest of us. And almost hate to say it,,but i did try and get a consensus on a procedure for starting the sessions, but for whatever reason,,,got very little response. Had we managed to come to an agreement, it would have helped solve one problem in sundays session. Have said it before, and will say it again,,there isnt any one of us who hasnt had problems getting the correct files installed. So dont want any of the people that had problems either sunday, or in previous session to feel bad about how things played out. Just a little bump, and sure we will all get over it. Keep on trying to find the times to do more scheduled sessions, but something always seems to come up. But will make an effort to get something up somethime between now and sundays game. have a mp tuturial tonight, and will help anyone who needs assistance in hosting games.

was browsing thru the sounds folder, and noticed the "bulletby" wav files... I fly with effects sound way up (the effects sounds are way to cool to miss),,,and dont think ive ever heard any of these... are they carry overs from cfs3,,,or have i just been missing them.. and,,if they are not included in bhah,,,,,would be nice if they could find their way in there bulletby01.wav bulletby03.wav bulletby02.wav bulletby04.wav bulletby05.wav bulletby06.wav

Noticed that Vascon has changed setting for the new teamspeak so we can move to channels ourselves. As it is impossible for most of us to get back into teamspeak while a game is running, am posting proceedure for assigning hot keys to the "change channel" function in teamspeak. This should help alot for pilots having any questions for the host, or anyone else, as they will not be stuck in the sub channel. I did this kinda of fast, so not sure if any of the key bindings i picked conflict with BHAH key commands. Naturally everyone should pick key combinations that make sense to them. Also, keep in mind, you can select commands to change you from one Channel to another Channel, but you cannot change from a Channel to a sub channel within another channel ie:...you cant go from DasBrewHaus to Hun,,,you have to go from DasBrewHaus to Ready Room, and then go from Ready Room to Hun channel. You can however change from a sub channel directly to any of the other channels. From teamspeak, select settings, and then key settings In the next drop down, select "switch to" for action, select "channel" in the middle box, and click on the drop down in the box on the left, and it will list all the channels available. Pick a channel you want to switch to, and then assign a key setting for the action. Not sure if i was doing something wrong the first time i tried this, but it seemed it had to be a key combination, ie i could not assign just the letter "H" to get me to the hun sub channel. In the pictures attached, i had not yet set a keycombo for swithcing to the Briefing Room, not sure what purpose that sub channel served Pilots should also take a look at all the other settings in teamspeak that can be contoled with key bindings. There may be some there that are useful. If anyone comes up with a good set of key settings (and by good,,,i mean its easy for someone to remeber what key takes you to what room),,,and they dont conflict with any key settings in BHAH, export them, and upload the file here. Would be nice if new pilots could import the file into thier teamspeak, and have something that worked right off the bat.

Sorry to hear that winson. And sorry for the hosting problems,,,,the whole block lost power, and there wasnt much i could do... Appreciate the fact i got on my cell, and spent a half hour with my wife at home trying to guide her thru setting up teamspeak with the new server so i could get message to you guys..... (she hung up on me eventually)

just out of curisity,,can you outline your cfs3config settings?
