Homeboy was wondering if you had tried any thirdparty joystick mapping software. I have the old saitek x45 (and just got another x45 almost new for 20 bucks), but the saitek profiler for the x45 has problems with xp64 Not happy about putting more stuff in my taskbar, but would like to be able to map fraps to my joystick.

Hi. searched for the link to support this, but trackir used to give a discount to members...unforutunaly,,i think it was soh members (our old site). Their site just crashed, so everything that used to be up there is not yet been re-done. But,,,will put up a post in general discussion for you, and maybe someone with a link or more info can point you in the right direction. Forget how much of a discount it was, and not even sure if it applied to overseas shippments. It might even turn out it will be cheaper for you 2 purchase from an overseas distributer, than from natuarlpoint.

Homeboy, Dont suppose you have been able to get alacrity to stop all the avg processes? hi ok,,,so you just want to have one person host a game,,and another join it,,,thats pretty staight forward.. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=38466 cant say this is going to answer all your questions, but it will put you on the right track. person hosting, if they are using a wireless router (which i think is you) has to forward the correct ports in the router. If you want,..get teamspeak..the settings for it are in the link above. If we can talk while we try to connext to each other it makes things so much easier. Then we can try and hook up to each other, and iron out the problems that might occur You let me know what days times are good for you, and ill try and get on.

Hi ive made a couple of profiles that hung up on me....they just sit,,,not sure if i gave them more time they would continue. But, if you open alacrity, and open the profile you are using,,,go to the log tab, and you can look at the log file, which is pretty much what you are seeing in the dos box. I would take the last item it seem to try and execute, and then edit your profile to do "nothing" for it..and see if it then is able to continue to the point where it actually starts your program. Not sure why some profiles run fine,,and some dont. Ive chaulked it up to my xp64os... if you want,,,there is also a copy to clipboard option in the log file...paste it here ,maybe someone with more experience will spot the problem

just guessing...not even sure if it is possible to install the minipatch (assuming we are talking about 1.3c) over anything other than a 1.30 install...but is there any chance you where not patched to 1.3 before you applied the 1.3c patch?

anyone tried that playexpert utility,,,,(just noticed the ad today) and,,if so....any feedback? doesnt seem like it would tie up too many resources,,but then,,,all the little things add up. it would be nice to be able to get outta the game window when you have to...

well..wish i could say i knew what i did..other than change and rechange a ton of settings that i have done too many times in the past, but end result is now i have sound.. homeboy is a master at walkthrus...maybe try and get his attention to this thread.. need a good fraps of a nice mp furball (hint...hint)

ok,,,curiosity is getting the best of me,, was that add for playexpert NOT suppose to be displayed on this site? only wondering cause now it is gone from my work computer too.

all i know for sure is that you cannot use your cfs3 config file for bhah. There is a uninsatll for bhah . start>all programs>obd>uninstall.... Im sure it removes everything. Ive seen posts that say when you upgrade your video, that you probabley will get a message saying your config file is out of date, and you have to run cfs3config again. Wondering if you got that. also, birddogct has suggested that when you do upgrade your nvidia drivers, you unistall the old ones first, before installing the new ones.. here is my cfs3config.exe from my bhah. Gotta feeling you dont have yours anymore. cfs3config.rar not sure if this is going to help you any.

ok,,,as long as we are on the subject,,, i cant get sound in my fraps (ie engine noise,,,guns..etc..etc) have onboard realtex hd audio....all the posts ive seen when i search say im suppose to have a audio option that says something along the lines of "what you hear", but i dont have that anywhere. anyone else have problems getting sound with the videos?

Warp is a function in CFS3 to skip to the next waypoint or action quickly. This program permanently patches SHELL.EXE please make a backup of this file before you run this patch! It can be run at any time on any version of OFF, but once patched you will not need to patch again unless you re-install. This is free, and has had limited testing -so be careful as we can accept no responsibility if something bad happens- if you don't like that idea then do not use it ! DOWNLOAD WARP ENABLER Instructions: download and unzip to your "CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields" folder. Double click on the WarpZap.exe program. It will ask you to browse for the Shell.exe. hmmm,,,,ok,,,,,,the add shows up on on my computer at work,,,,but,,,,there is no add here at home......... so,,,either they took it off (maybe it was never suppose to be there in the first place?), or i have different settings here and at work. lol..anyways,,,,,if anyone ever tries it,,,would appreciate feedback on how it worked/didnt work

As far as the bombs go, have had the same thing happen to me on occaision. Its led me to belive that maybe after you select the weapon, you only have so long to deploy it. Anyways, i just make sure i hit the key mapped to return(select weapon), right before i think i am going to drop/fire an ordinance. And as to looking at the guages (ive never looked at cockpit gauges to be honest, they are way to small for me to read), if you dont have trackir, you should seriously consider getting it. and just to make sure you know, you can move the hud gaueges around, if you dont like where they are. (drag and drop) There is even a post somewhere on how to make them smaller
