I am going to assume that anyone can fly anything they want. At some point it has to be decided if 2 seaters are allowed...(my vote NO!!!!!) If anyone has any ideas for proceedures, rules, format,,,,anything at all....please post them.

I am sure there will be plenty of advanced notice. As all the formalities of exactly how this is going to be run have not been worked out, It will be a little while before everything is finilalized.

Anyone know where the cfs3config file is stored, or is more than one file. Was hoping to make different profiles of my settings that i could switch quickly.

lol....hey,,its the thought that counts... I think its the cfs3overrides in the windows\prefetch folder that gets edidted... nope,,,wroing about that... least the game still playes.

ok,,,yeah,,i saw that,,but i got a flyout that said not recommended,,,so i left it alone.... and hey,,,while i got you,,,when u left mp last nite,,did you disconnect? or did you just leave? It looked like you disconnected,,,but your plane kept on flying,,,,,and at a steep climb.. because the game was set up to respawn within 1 mile of other planes....eventually we where starting at 46,000 feet cause your plane was so friggin high!!!!

I am gueesing that to make things easy for everyone,,,,we (doves and hawks group)..will stick with hard. Anyone hosting can make the game any way they want...

Once i have entered all my search criteria, i generally sort results by Best Review. Need someone to make up a soup to nuts tuturial for players wishing to get into multiplayer games. should include whatever addtional info vista32 and vist64 users need screen shots always are a big help anyone who has ideas of what specific things should be included in the turial can post in this thread. to be the first to do the above,,,,,would like to see a section on "error messages" or "problems" and solutions to the types of problems that players encounter when trying mp .

Yeah, i know what you mean, but still need something that a new pilot can go to,,,and to whatever extent possible,,,get everything in one place.... and your right,,,i did volunteer...lol..... so,,,ANYTHING you can think of that should be in a tuturial for new pilots will be appreciated...i can only look at things from my aspect,,,,and thats always going to be incomplete... one thing i do need from axe is an quick run down of why you cant get into mp thru the off manager.....what os you have,,,where you get whatever error message etc..etc.. when im finished with what i got,,,will post it up for scrutiny,,,,not looking to get patronized here,,,sometimes what makes sense to one person makes no sense to anotther. with the exception of what i can get from griphos post,,the vista section will be incomplete,,,i dont have vista...so deffintaly need ppl to fill in the blanks there.

dont want to ask a stupid question ..(ie,,its what i was doing wrong). but after you hit browse, and found it,,,did you hit save settings? course,,i dont have an avator either ,,it shows up in my profile...but not in the forums posts or a group icon...

have a just for fun game up ip is 75.67.5.13 non combat game,,,just flying. good opportunity for anyone thinking about trying mp to give it a shot. will leave game up for as long as computer stays running (seems to hang for some reason eventually but join and play as you like......scenery is the alps, and is very flyable

if you dont manage to get in tonight, i should have another game up tommorow,, if you can get teamspeak, it makes troubleshooting alot easier good luck
