am on new computer, so not sure if it just better hardware sound, but the sound effects seem to be vastly improved......i can hear wind on the wings when i stall,,and have never heard enemy engines noise so well......

Hi, hope you join. stump has been making alot of great addons, and the maps of itlay are terrific. Can't speak for everyone else, but would be more than glad to try and arrange some date/times to get together and get a feel for how game play may go. uk_widowmaker is getting an online squad together, and was hoping we could hook up with them too,,,,working around the time difference (the brits against the germans,,,,,and as usual,,,the americans come in late..)

axe....open up command promt,,,(from accesories) and type ipconfig....get the last 3 digits of you internal ip open up a browser,,,and type 192.168.1.1 that should open up your router window....if you have no password on there,,,user name is blank,,,pasword is admin by default click on the applications and gaming tab. fill it in as i have,,,but your last 3 probably will be different than my last 3...... pic seems littl blurry,,,so its 2300 to 2300 and second line is 28883 to 28887 and the last 3 of your ip go in the last box...make sure you check enable save settings... thats it...done

It is a little confusing at the beginning as I think when OFF2 was availaable for download it came with an installer, however, it is not that difficult to understand what parts need to be followed. If you go to use multiplayer, and attempt to host a game, be sure to deselect the box that says something like "display my game in the cfs server list". Multiplayer has to be done ip to ip, so if you host a game, post the fact that the game is up in the OFF forum, and post your ip addresss. pd's mp tuturial is now a sticky in the forum, and is a must for gettting your mp game up. Also, Teamspeak seems to be used by alot of flyers for communcation while in multiplayer. The site is teamspeak.com, and all you need is the client download (about 5.5mb). Naturally you will need a mic, and if you have problems with feedback thru your speakers, you may need to switch to headphones. The settings for teamspeak are as follows... Label: OFF outlaw server Server Address: 217.155.102.217:8767 (note..that is a colon before the 8767) Nickname What ever you chose Anonymous should be checked. yeah,,,your the 2nd person with that problem.. i know on my computer,,,,it has to be in the drive it was INSTALLED with,,,,so if you have a cdrom/dvdrom you have to have disk2 in the right drive i will check posts every so often,,,and keep my eye on teamspeak...

the router is no problem,,,thats the router i have,, and,,,dont know if you have noticed,,but deadmeat is a demi-god over at the cfs3 forum, cause he figured out how to get cfs3 to work online for vista users....so if cfs3 will work,,,cant see why off shouldnt...maybe you should pop over to the cfs3 forom at soh,,and look for his post,,they made it a sticky,,right next to the statue they erected of him...

can i get a quick step by step on getting screen shots up?....i upload the pic using the manage current attachments...and then click on the green plus sign,,,but all i get is an attachment that is basically a link to download the file.... thanks....

hi in your first post,,,you indicated you have your cfs3 cd in your drive,,,but in your last post you indicate you have the dvd version of cfs3, so not sure if you have both, or not im sure you have already tried,,but clean disc,,and make sure its the right one (forget,,is it cd1 or cd2 for that.....)

hi, sorry bout all your problems.... and was being saracastic about my schedule....i get back from my sales route around 2ishpm edt, and can hook up with you anytime after that,,,although at this point in time,,,,,whatever your problem is..its got my pretty stumped.... dont know if its a vista issue or what.... i will try and get back to the old posts to see if there is anything there that may indicate what the problems is.... i do seem to remember someone with vista renaming some files... duck

never asked you what os you are running,,vista or xp,,, and just out of curisity,,,do you have to have the cd in the drive,,,to play the game.. not sure if this is the same on vista or not ( i have xp)...but open your obd/ww1 overflandersfields and find your cfs3mp.exe....send it to the desktop as a shorcut,,,and start your mp game from there... it may,,or may not help your problem... its 840 edt here,,,i will watch the forum,,,if i see a post from you before i have to leave,,,and if you have the time ( i know you had some things to do),,,will try and hook up with you to try and resolve the problem. if not,,,,let me know a good time for you tommorow,,and will try and adjust my heavily laden schedule to accomodate.. but,...would like to put this question out to the forum,,,just for future reference,,,, if you have a cfs3 cd with 3.1 on it,,,,can you install off3 from the cd,,without a cfs3 installation...i belive all the posts in the past have indicated that this could only be done with a dvd.....

ok,,this is red-dogs method... and rickitycrate,,,i did mine the same way you did yours..... and,,when i went to preview,,i did get something new,,,,a "initializing attchement" window under the reply post screen,,,,but,,,no pic.. just out of curisity,,,after you post your pic,,,does the system delete the pic file? ie,,if you want to post the pic again,,you have to upload it again,,which is my case.. damn,,hope i didnt do something to piss someone off,,,,didnt take me long...

lol..sorry,,,guess i should have made the question more specific,,,,as red dog guessed... yes,,i want to get a pic into a post,,,,and,,all i was ending up with was the [attachment] thing in my post,,,which by the way,,was a download link if you put your cursor on it,,and was the same in both the preview,,and actuall post (so i deleted the post)... proceedure i did was to go to the browse button,,select the file,,,,upload the file,,,then clicked on manage current attachments,,select the pic i just uploaded from the dropdown, and click on the icon with the green plus sighn (insert image into text editor) (wow,,,just noticed it gives you all the posts in the thread as well as the reply window...great idea....) went to preview,,,and all i get is the attachment line... will post this,,,and if it does what it has in the past,,,will end up with no pic in the post,,but a link to the pic

ok,,great what i think is happening here is that you got a dvd of cfs3......and the 3.1a patch did something to bombers i belive,,,so although they say its required, i think you can install off3 without it.

hi,, ok,,,not totally sure about this,,,but am pretty sure..... if you have the dvd of cfs3, then the off3 install will take the files it needs off the dvd,,no need to intall cfs3 if you have the cd of cfs3. then it has to be installed and patched to 3.1a, and run at least once,,before you can install off3.... now,,,if i understand your post correctly, you told off3 to take the files from the cd, rather than an installation (which by the way,,,i didnt think would work,,but guess it does), and have been able to fly all other aspects off off3 ok...other than mp if this is the case,,,not sure if you are going to be able to play mp or not, without going thru the hassel of uninstalling off3, installing cfs3, patching it..running it once,,then reinstalling off3,,,and getting the 1.25e patch... you may want to post in the forum to get another opinion.
