this will hopefully turn out to be wonderful!! two areas that i would love to see improved if possible.. more information concerning ground strikes and claims for them, kills of hangers, rail depots, etc.. it seems bombers can plug away at enemy airfields and railstations.. but we dont get more than a bomb statistic.. second,.. would be something different than just a black screen when your killed.. maybe a bunch of lads around the piano singing something inspiring in your memory.. here is an example of a good RFC song from the day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gy4e0P6DNWw&feature=related please see 7:31 for my example.. besides that im sure everything else will be wonderful!! Congrats ZoomZoom, Your very own flyer!! Now get him back to camp, have a hell of a party (he is the main attraction..) before they come and collect him for the camps.. Im sure the boys back at base will have the booze ready.. ;) The honor of those days was amazing.. so much gentelman flyers... Where the enemy was still an honorable opponent, and countless rounds to the fallen foes.. Great Job..

exactly.. Steam is trying to be the 'future of gaming' in which you need certain 'software' to even get the game to run.. just another example of Corporatism trying somehow to force more money out of the consumer against their will, or forcing software on them that they personally may not want... I hate steam ugh !!!

Hiya, I still think the original Total war was the best and brightest of the series.. Total war 2 was great for all the eye candy.. and the worst and most buggy was Empires.. I own all of them and have to say it does go in that order.. I hope the new one turns out good.. but like Vasco said.. im leanin torwards the price dropping before i commit funds for it.. after all, im savin up for the new Silent Hunter 5 ...Rawr... that sounds like a great scrap you had there!!!.. be proud of your comrades I think the squadrons that really work good together acheive the most in this game.. the ratings really are true i have noticed also.. when it says 'poor' the AI wingies are slow to react, or dont fly so good compared to say an 'elite' unit.. great Battle though!! ;)

From what i have noticed having flown a few missions in bombers from either side is that like Olham said, the AI gunner is a damn sight better shot then most pilots.. i think you just have to get them within a good striking position.. Concerning formation flying and bombing.. most lacked bombsites (no norden here folks for you old B172 fans) and it was extremely hard to hit really anything of signifigance at all.. honestly i get 'low and slow' right over the field.. dodge enemy fire and drop em right over the hangers.. and hope like hell i hit em.. (mostly i get crates with an occasional milk truck... hahahaha) ive flown in steady formation at 8 thousand with the other Bombers and dropped also through the primitive bomb site and hit nothing but grass.. so its all practice.. drop ur ordnance.. and run like hell back home!! yes do have fun with that little beast, in the right hands it can be a killer.. and fun to fly to boot.. ;) some planes just are really to hard to fly unless you get many hours in it to learn how it handles in my opinion, (a good example flew a spad the other day for my first time.. that was bucking around like a stallion.. ) damn thing reminded me of a Focke Wolfe in its handling.. just overall tricky to fly in unskilled hands.. The pup was easy, turned on a dime, and deadly!! so have fun my 2 bits worth.. Blue781

I feel your pain.. many a mission the same thing has happened to me also.. As im running a Nividia 7500 Vista and i HATE IT!!! they are the worst drivers i have ever seen.. Xmas is coming soon and i have a whole wish list goin... hahahahaha But yes memorable missions like that come but once in a while.. sorry for your loss Cheers, Blue
