  1. Alpine Mission

Thank you. And I was trying to figure out how to turn the radar off, but I couldn't find my "notes" and then all hell broke loose. I am going to fly that one again sometime and will see if I can replicate the setting. I do a alot of flying in FSX in Alaska, and mountains and the sky are so soothing.
  2. Alpine Mission

Thanks, I just found that out once I had posted. Mama always told me I wasn't a patient person. Maybe thats why I am on about my 43rd pilot
  3. This is a photo from the Zeps over Paris mission. One of the most intense battles I have been in. First we meet up with Ernst Udet and his wingman (men- not sure how many there were) and I did manage to take out one of the "cigars". Then a multitude of other German planes late in the afternoon just as the sky was dimming. What a great affect with the low light conditions and flying low over Paris. I managed to bring my plane down safely
  4. Zeps over Paris

From the album BHAH for Ras

I know that this photo is quite dark. It was very exciting to meet the enemy over Paris. The day was ending and there were a lot of Huns around. I did manage to take one of the Zeps out of the sky with my rockets. You can see the damage to the wing

  7. Mission downloads

What is the correct answer to this question? Thanks
  8. Am working now, but this one is on my list for tonight or tomorrow. Thanks, Lou
  9. TrackIR Q ...

Me either. I just purchased Traciir4 a couple of weeks ago at the reduced price once #5 came out. Do they really have to charge that much???!!! Its like my darn dentist. 1.5 hours in the chair on a root canal and it cost nearly $900.00!!! Not right. You may as well put a knife in my stomach as that would have taken the pain away from my mouth. But have to say, I love the new TrackIr. It takes much more to get used to it than I thought
  10. Frank Luke

Maybe by this time next year it will be less than half the price or more and then I'll buy it. Until then, no way.
  11. Letters from the front

I certainly look forward to hearing more from Daniel. I mentioned once before and I know others feel the same way. When we don't have the time to get into the sky and have the wind blowing in our face, the next best thing is reading about it. My fingers are crossed for Daniels' success and safety
  12. Great news, for this mission by Lou is one I am going to give a try. It looks jolly exciting.
  13. 19 and 20

Congratulations on making the 17 hour mark. I enjoyed the written account and pictures. Makes me want to get back in the Nieuport again.
  14. Found another one.

But the price has been $39.99 for quite some time. A bargain for sure
  15. I'll be giving this mission a try, but only after I have some time behind the Trac Ir....due to arrive in 3 days!. Whoooppppeeee John. Thanks, Lou
  16. This has been excrustiaiting and on the other hand a lot exciting times. I had the pleasure of being involved in Phase 2, and a have enjoyed BHAH, since its very begininng...., though I have not have been a regular contributor to this forum, I have enjoyed this sim without the use of Track IR. It now excites me more than ever to know that in about 10 days I will have this amazing add on. I have had some great experiences in shooting down MvR ( in invincible mode) to the extreme of implementing Did and lasting for almost 8 hours/ 5 missions and 4 kills for my best pilot.!!!! But it has been a big negative for this sim without the use of the trac ir... For at least that is what I have read time and time again in the foruim. I will look forward to meeting with the likes of many of you .. Forgive me for me for being a bit sacrireligious, but I pray for the chance to use this add on to the experience. So, what am I? An old fart that loves this sim and if I die before I wake, I pray the heavens, my plane to take. I will see you arseholes in the future.
  17. Hey, Ricketycrate...maybe you and Raf Louvert (hope I got that right) will have to meet up some day in the puckerbrush of Minnesota along with anyone else from this region... Talk about having a great time? In months of looking forward to the Track Ir, I am certainly "excited". to see if I can make a difference in the "Great War"
  18. That is much better. Thank you. I can't wait to read it later this evening.
  19. When one doesn't have time to set up a flight because of time constrictions, a video or a good read from anyone is a real nice "fix"
  20. Love those letters home, Siggi. Thanks
  21. I think he was just asking a question and not complaining
  22. Engine Sounds

But when I put my stereo headphones one.!!! What a difference!!! Fantastic. Most often I have to fly without my headphones so I can hear a telephone, doorbell...or even the wife And when I put one the headphones again, i heard the most wonderful engine sounds, rain falling on the wings, wind, and I didn't hear the wife..
  23. Engine Sounds

I love the Fokker DR.1 when idling down on an approach to the airfield for a landing. It is amazing.
