  7. Hi guys, After I defragmented my harddisk and implemented the Cluster Bomb Fix - v0.9 I get CTD's everytime I start up a (single) mission after 60% upload. The game ran smooth before. I checked the missile.object.ini and the particles.ini and everything looks fine. Did anyone have the same experience? What should I do. I hate to install the entire game with patches again :( Thanx, Echo
  8. As a matter of fact I installed DX9a and now everything runs smoothly again (previousl I had DX9). Thanks, Echo
  9. Hi guys, I think the current engine exhaust flames are too wide/too soft (when engaging afterburner of course). An afterburner as in Flanker e.g. looks better. How can I adjust it? Is anybody already working on it perhaps? :) Cheers, Echo

  11. Capun, Have you made any progress yet regarding the SAMs? Cheers, Echo :D
  12. Hi there, Your post is a great help. Can you give us an idea what the entries for ParticleColor and ParticleSize mean, i.e. which entries trigger which effect; length of exhaust, etc? (this would avoid us inventing the wheel for a number of times:wink: ) Thanks, Echo
  13. Hi guys, Is there a way to improve the AI behaviour? e.g. air to air / air to ground. They seem to vanish, immediately upon receipt of orders. They are too quick! Cheers, Echo :?
  14. Mine is WinXP Home AMD Athlon XP2200+ 512 MB DDR Geforce4MMX64 SB live 5.1 20gig I don't think it's the computer system, it is the AI behaviour: they move too fast and too nervous. How can we tackle this? Cheers, Echo
  15. :D Thanx, The afterburner looks pretty cool now!! In what way should I amend no. 73 in the particles.ini? Cheers, Paul
  16. Or is it simply the game......................?
  17. Hi guys, I downloaded these two programs, but no explanation was attached to them. Can anybody please explain how i can use these handy programs? Kind regards, Echo :)
  18. I think I got it figured out now (at last  ) Is this the right sequence?: 1 open the weapons editor 2 open weapens data ini file (not the mentioned weapens them selves) 3 make changes, if any, in the details screen 4 push save 5 close editor Cheers Echo
  19. Capun, Thanks for your response. How do I save the file to create a new DAT file which should also be in the objects directory? Thx Echo
  20. Hi Kidgalahad, When I move my joystick in a direction, I see that the accompanying planes, simultaniously, i.e almost immediately, change their course as well, without hesitation, copying my exact move for 100%. This simply looks unnatural. Moreover when issuing orders, i.e. attack air, or attack ground, the accompanying AI planes move so quickly towards their targets, that they seem to have dissappeared at the moment I look around after having issued the attack order. After a second of looking where they have flown to, they seem much too far a way. This is especially striking if your AI wingman receives an order to attack a ground object in front or under your plane: he seems to dive like an idiot acrobat superman with turbo boost almost 90% down. Does anybody have the same experience? Cheers Echo :)
