  2. Thanks Hauksbee, Sometimes I time the music, as best I can, other times its purely coincidence. Hello rayfer, I use a combination of padlock and FreeTrack. Freetrack software is free but you have to make your own tracking system, i.e. web cam modifications and LED cap gizmo. Bad thing about FreeTrack is that you only get 2DOF (Two degrees of freedom Yaw and Pitch). I have not yet but intend on buying TrackIR. With it 5DOF works with OFF. I would recommend TrackIR.
  3. Olham goes Tripe

Funny you should pick 10RNAS. I want to profile aces from different countries in my videos. I was reading about Raymond Collishaw and thought he would be a good candidate for the Canadians. You will be with him and the “Black Flight”, at least until the end of July when he transferred. If I’m not mistaken you might also meet up with Jasta 11. Sounds like you’re going to have fun!
  4. OFF BH&H Video: Sky Riders

Hey Catch, I was wondering where you were. Hey, any excuse to see Sky Riders again is ok. Brighter looks better. I absolutely love this video. I never get tired of watching it. So far this is my favorite OFF video. That is until maybe your next video. Love it!!! Jammer
  5. A few days ago I made a video about Charles Nungesser. Hauksbee commented that the Nieuport (Lewis) had a clunky gunsight and it covered the action. I couldn’t agree more.Tony the Tiger suggested to try Guynemer because “His Noop 17 had a Vickers with iron sights rather than the Lewis with Aldis sight.” So here is Georges Guynemer, France's most beloved ace.
  6. OT Now THAT'S Art!

I had seen some of these in emails but wanted more. Thanks for the links Cameljockey. I'm going to bookmark them. Jammer
  7. I was amazed also. Once I started to really look at the aeroplanes closer I began to appreciate the level of engineering that went into designing them. They are no longer the old crates as I once saw them.
  8. Just getting started

Oh, man! I got a Sidewinder, the second incarnation, when they first came out. I have used it so much I have to squeeze the gun trigger hard to shoot the gun. I remapped it to another button but I wanted a replacement. You can find used ones but they are still expensive. I just keep using my old one, it still work after all. Glad to hear that you found one and for just $5! Welcome to OFF and the forum. Jammer
  9. Loosely (very) based on the exploits of French ace Charles Nungesser Thanks goes to Catch for teaching me how to embed a video. Jammer
  10. DVD Cover

I checked my DVD cover and although it may not be 24lb paper it looks fine.Lower production costs should translate into higher profits for the devs. It’s not top quality but it still looks professional. Speaking of bootleg copies, here is an excerpt from Thomas L. McDonald’s Game Theory column in Maximum PC titled "Grassroots Gaming". Another company, Brighter Minds, filed for Chapter 11 protection in January, despite the success of its World of Goo, a brilliant piece of gaming design for the ridiculous price of $20. Goo, which was released DRM-free, was subjected to a 90 percent piracy rate. Designer Ron Carmel told Joystiq that he saw torrents of the game with "500 seeders and 300 leechers." If you’re reading this, and you played Goo on a stolen copy, you’re a world-class jackoff, and probably would have stolen this magazine if you weren’t afraid the dude at Borders would have caught you. I’d pay $20 just to kick you in the nuts. Here is the link to the full article http://maximumpc.coverleaf.com/maximumpc/200904/?pg=14 I feel the same way about OFF. Jammer

  13. Hauksbee, I couldn’t agree with you more about that clunky gunsight. But I wanted to make a video about Charles Nungesser’s early days and unfortunately that was his mount at the time. I was stuck with the Nieuport. Creaghorn, Knight Rider? I had no clue. Other than seeing the show in passing I never really watched it. The music is from the ballet Sylvia - Act 3 - Marche et cortège de Bacchus. I normally credit the music at the end of my videos but it was getting kinda long already.
  14. Could someone post?

If you haven’t done so already I would recommend reading the FAQ’s for Fraps here: http://www.fraps.com/faq.php I would also suggest checking your Windows audio setting in Control Panel. If I’m not mistaken the audio capture works for the un-registered version. You just have a perpetual “www.fraps.com” at the top of your videos until registered.
  15. Rooster’ I second Mack. WOW!!! This is an absolutely gorgeous picture! Jammer
  16. OT talk about Immersion!

Hey Grumpy, Just curious as to what you upgraded to. Right now I have an 8800 GTS 312 and I’m thinking about getting something newer. What difference do you see with a better card? Jammer
  18. The store is now open...

Just put in my order for a T-shirt and mug.
  19. I was ground support. Worked on the SIGINT systems. I got out of the AF in ’89 and went to Offutt as a civilian working on the RC-135. With that I went to Saudi for Desert Shield. Sometimes I miss working on and being around airplanes. Jammer
  20. Love is in the air.

I wonder if thats where United Airlines got their slogan: Fly United
  21. Medals?

Hey Lou, Is this the same Ruptured Duck from the Doolittle raid on Tokyo? Jammer
  22. Hey Lou, I’m sure if you’re aware or not that the Security Service became the Electronic Security Command around 1980, of which I served in. I was in the 6952 ESS from ’83 to ’86 in England working on the TR1a (or as it was re-designated later the U2r). Jammer
  23. The store is now open...

Alright Hauksbee! Thank you. I’ll order an Albatros T for now and hope we get some OFF products.

  25. A flight of SE5a's and Fokker DR1's duel Over Flanders Fields Wow! The Dr1 is such a light and agile bird.
