  1. Hello Spinners, it have been confirmed by the Sport's Secretary of the Belgian Cycling Team, there's no relation between the colours of the Air Force's flag and the cycling team's shirt. For the latter, the colour exist "from as far as I can remember", quoting the man I've been in touch with. He have no idea about the origin of that colour though, which is officialy known as "retro blue". Have a nice day
  2. Hello MigBuster, thanks for your interest , that website is amongst my knwon source though. It does mention "several upgrades" but doesn't go very much indepth, except for the FLIR, which, afaik, ain't in SF2 series. Best regards
  3. Well, if they are blank, feel free to set them as it would fit best to your habits, but here are the usual default settings: ANIMATION_1=SHIFT+1 ANIMATION_2=SHIFT+2 ANIMATION_3=SHIFT+3 ANIMATION_4=SHIFT+4 ANIMATION_5=SHIFT+5 ANIMATION_6=SHIFT+6 ANIMATION_7=SHIFT+7 ANIMATION_8=SHIFT+8 ANIMATION_9=SHIFT+9 ANIMATION_10=SHIFT+0
  4. Well spotted Canadair for that TEWS thingy, I sincerely overlooked it when I said that I had no RWR issue. Kevin said that he's having an issue with all models though. ;) For what it worth, here are some datas compiled by TOPOLO for Free Falcon about the M2000 http://topolo.free.f...Mirage-2000.pdf Source: http://topolo.free.fr/mdv.htm
  5. Hello Devill1, the Misc Commands are the Animation Keys, and are better know under that name, that players can use to activate an animation designed by the modeller of an aircraft. A common example would be to open the canopy. Please note though that animations are just eye candies, they don't have any aerodynamic effects. To know what key to use, simply read the ReadMe, as it's often mentioned in it amongst other valuable infos, or set yourself in external view (F6) and try all animation keys. Have a nice day
  6. Hello Kevin, I don't knowabout the others but here it does work and does it well, it saved my flying ass more than once. Back to home after a sweating 1h27 long mission with about 40min below 250 feet Here are some other screenshots of the beauty, before the prices rocket sky high once it will have been on Hustler's cover, exposed to lubricious people... like me.
  7. To whoever installed it over an NF4 install: remember to repopulate the several Highway Strips in your GERMANYCE_TARGETS.INI file, or your jumpers squadrons will be reaffected to the default airfields. Cheers
  8. Just checked, Wildenrath is clear of trees here. My game is Combo pack + the two Expansions, patched to December-C. Over that, I have up to date NF4+++, then the Piecemeal's Mod and the Quickfix. I'm on XP Pro SP3, ATi HD4850 and everything maxed out (except shadows and reflections).
  9. Is it specific to one airport Sundowner? The one I flown over (not that I would not have love to take off myself but I patched my game, you know) and these I delivered bombs on had not fired their landscape gardener team.
  10. Still in the installation process, I must say that I'm impressed by the amount of work you put in ChampionsVA56. The amount of details is incredible and the documentation will be helpful to fully use the range's potential. Maybe that a neat PDF ala mythical Deuces' BombingRange would ease the printing of all that, but I'm clearly nitpicking here. Thank you for your training range ChampionsVA56, it sets a new standard for 2011!
  11. Hello Fuza, thanks for your answer. How is one supposed to test it? Are there tools and a methodology available? I saw mentioned an empty map, but one radar site, but I can't find the post nor I've been able to find such a terrain.
  12. Sorry if that question is dumb or have been already asked (I searched for an answer first and didn't found it though), but does it worth to network the EWR with a given SAM system, are they then more useful than simple stats' inflater ?
  13. Glad to read that you got rid of that dürüm. Happy new year and be safe ;)
  14. What about turning the incriminated files and the mod folder to Read Only?
  15. Hello Freiwillige, wild guessing here but after having spent a whole afternoon reinstalling things, I can only understand your feeling and I must try to help you. In the mod folder, could you please check that the Options.ini file have the correct path in the [Mods] section and that "ModsEnabled" is set to TRUE ? Then, in the .INI file of the aicraft that are bogging you, please check that the "AircraftDataFile=" leads to the correct file. Good luck! Edit: Ouch, just been Wrenched
  16. Great work Piecemeal! For the lazy and the newbies, or any combination of both, here are the direct links to the downalod pages of the must have mods. Pasko's SAMs and Vehicles Pak: Euro Skins (haven't found the "original" so I assume that it's that one that we need) Soviet Transport Pack by Kesselbrut Cheers
  17. It looks to me to be the grid 60-40, between Zlatec and Altenburg-Nobitz. PS: interestingly, the grid SE of it, grid 70-30, is supposed to be the Czech "SAM free" zone from the Cold War. http://geimint.blogspot.com/2008/09/czechoslovakian-strategic-air-defense.html
  18. Hello all, first, moderator, if it ain't the right place to post it, feel free to move the thread and accept my apologies. That said, I'm having an issue with NF4, carefully installed all elements and patchs, on a merged and up to date complete install, as anytime as I hit the Campaign option in the main menu, it crashes to desktop with a Windows error message box informing me that there's something wrong with the campaignscreen.dll file. However, when I deactivate NF4 (by renaming the SF2 Europe's mod folder), the unmodded campaigns works like a charm. Is anybody else experiencing the same issue? Cheers
  19. hello gents, thank you for your interest. Eric, all XP2 aircrafts are in the mod folder that I had issue with. By the way, my system is WinXP, so Dx9 too. My game is the combo pack over which I installed XP1, XP2 and the December C patch. I ran all exe to get the mod folders, then I installed NF4, main, obejcts and aicrafts, then the updates over it. PS: I posted some details about the Belgian forces in '86, not sure it was at the right place, so I respectfully bring it to your attention again: http://combatace.com...post__p__459639
  20. Amazing, that worked! Would you know what exactly was wrong? Anyway, thank you very much Dave Cheers
  21. Nice work Jumiro, it's informative and time saving. Thanks for sharing it.
  22. I would love to be able to save a customized loadout and "paste" it to my own plane, for example for the next similar mission, or to my wingmens. By being able to save more than one loadout, it would even ease the preparation to an "Alpha Strike Junior" like mission in which the player bring some friends, like 18, to the fight.
  23. Voted for the Mirage F-1 because it would open an unexplored side of many several conflicts, certainly in Africa, Persian Gulf and would be lovely in Europe too. As far as I know most of the other are already available in somewhat good mod.
  24. It *may* represent Force 1's specific intelligence/knowledge of that particular Force 2 (Enemy) unit, revealing more or less information about enemy's units on the campaign planning map. At a level of 100, the player may know the nature and the volume of the unit. I'm not sure that it's dynamic, in other words that Recon missions improve the level of intelligence the player side have about a given unit. About the reason for which only Force 2 (OPFOR)'s units have a level of intelligence set, I would guess that it's because the campaign is supposed to be played on Force 1 side. Cheers
  25. Hello Lt. James Cater, as far as I actually know (aka "learnt from the founts of knowledge around"), the Barlock radar isn't networked by default. That, mean I think, that only itself know when it detects something as it doesn't share the infos. Cheers PS: ouch, I've been Fausted
