  1. I edited the A6M2-N released by Wrench. I edited the A6M5 cockpit that fits the Rufe. To improve the flight model of the Rufe, I edited the A6M7, which is already a mod of the A6M5. I saw that the A6M2 had been already modded (and think that I should do something here...) But now I'd like some guidance. What would be best? Release each of the file in separate uploads? Release a pack? Just copy each edit in this thread?

  6. Hi :) I'm editing the Ajunaidr's Canberra MkI8. Mainly the F-86 Zurawski's Pit with some textures from the Mk2 pit by Kesselbrut. Thanks guys! So far, it gives that : Should I remove the mirror? Any suggestion? Go ahead
  7. It wasn't moving so I could aim at it. The BI8 is much better for that type of target but, with the B2 a salvo of 6x500lbs should deal with it (no room enough for 13xMk13 lol)

  9. I'm not a Max user but my advice is check the lowest locations, just in case they touch the ground... If I'm right, you're doing a Hurricane :) so check the belly and the tail values with FastCargo's small ruler device. Like that :
  10. Last week I had some concerns about the idea of using a camera as a bombsight. The first tests were with 500lbs bombs and when I tried some 1000lbs bombs I realised that it didn't work at altitude. In fact, at 10000ft slowing down by 5kts for a 750lbs M117 (345knt IAS) and 10kts for a 1000lbs Mk13 (340kts) makes it. Add 7kts (357kts) for a 250lbs bomb. (...still panelling to finish) (and find a way of using the original B2 bombsight, editing altitude and speed. Why bombing at 250kts when you can do it at 350?) ...350kts IAS, 10000ft AGL, +/-3.1NM... I guess radar bombing mode is doable, by editing the GroundMap radar setting in the avionics file. But not for the B2 lol
  11. From 30000ft it becomes impossible to keep the course, because I lost sight of the red square too long before dropping. 45 sec to fall :)

Panelling work is going veeeerrrry slowly (boring stuff to do) I borrowed the photoflash flare from Pasko's Mosquito and discovered that, when loaded in the wingman bomb bay (as a rocket pod) it bugs the AI (...intelligence ) To start his pass, the wingman deploys the airbrakes, climbs till 12000ft, stalls and crashes... Everything went ok when I deleted the flares RP in the loadout.ini file. I made up a bomb sight for the BI8 with a camera. Do 1500ft AGL and 350kt are right values for a bombing run? By the way, the amount of fuel of the B2 internal tanks is : 512 UK gal in the n°1 tank 317 UK gal in the n°2 tank 545 UK gal in the n°3 tank In the loadout menu, 100% fuel gives 10450lbs.

  16. I don't really know why I thought it was a good idea making up a T4 before editing the FM. But it gave me practice about pit file, location and decals :) And now the flaps work like the real ones, 50° or retracted.
  17. New : fuel switches and oil pressure gauges for the PR7 pit (I've updated the previous BI8 screenshots in the first page)

  22. Thank you, it worked and I got the mesh names of the B2 pit I have the text version of the hex editor.
