    Would it be possible at some point to be able to have high res skins and visible damage? They look great in high resolution but while I can get past not seeing bullet holes, seeing pieces of fabric ripped off and even the wings bent are just too neat looking to live without.

  7. Aside from the overclocking you did, I wonder if some of your performance gains were because of running at the native resolution over the 1680x1050.

    Whats really great about it as you say is its ability to hang on. When you climb with an EA and see the enemy unable to hang on the prop themselves and stall down, you can slam on the rudder and get back in a nice firing position very soon after. After flying the Spad XIII, the Fokker really is a joy to fly (well just about anything is!).

    I have the quadrant as well and another thing to notice for, after setting the axis the way you want and getting the null and sensitivity sliders set up, is to remap the button 8 key. Its default is to switch padlock view on or off and so if you move the prop lever out of the way youll activate this command and lock the hat switch. But other than that, it works just about flawlessly, be it in OFF or FSX

    If you are looking to convert some formats, one of the best programs Ive found is called format factory. And it's freeware. Can do just about any file imaginable in any format - pictures, movies, music, etc. Nice to have all of converting tools in one app.

    Second that! I got my scenery and terrain on 2, and the only thoughts that have ever come to mind when looking around no matter if 5 feet or 5,000 are how great it looks. It'd be great to bump those up, and Im sure that there is a noticeable difference, but right now, ignorance is bliss.
