Mostly Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG. Switching between a long-term German campaign in Hearts of Iron III and an Allied campaign in Guns of August (WW1 by Matrix Games). And some scenarios of Combat Mission: Shock Force to keep an eye on asymmetric tactical warfare...

In comics series "Star Wars Legacy" (about 140 A.B.Y.), young Gunn Yage, daughter to Moffs Yage and Calixte, is Imperial leader of the Skull Squadron, flying weird TIE Predators (with TIE classical hulls and insectoid long wings). Well, it's then a much les racist New Empire, it may be much less sexist too.

Welcome Padawan. I handle presently six avatars, and have recently reached Legacy Level 50 (title The Living Legend). But all of my avatars rampage on French-speaking server Battle Meditation, so there is few chances that we may cross lightsabers face to face or side by side. Hope you'll get better chance on English-speaking servers, I'm still available for advices about getting the best from the game system...

Reminds me of the old joke about Hitler in Hell having a leave on Earth for good conduct, and coming back completely disgusted: "Now the Germans are the traders and the Jews are the warriors!" -

Greek F-16 crashes at ramp

Wishes for the wounded. Some are said to be in a critical state. -
I remember watching a fine documentary about the Mughal Empire. The part about the Mughal military superiority was illustrated by such impressive demonstrations by an expert bowman using this kind of double-bent bow on horse-riding at a gallop, shooting targets in very quick succession almost at point blank while making dodging acrobatics on the saddle. This expert bowman, said to be one of the best in this art, was closely working with historians to help supporting their researches; I wonder if he was the same man?

Disinformation is everywhere. Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, threatens to take legal action against Fox News for having repeatedly stated that several "no-go zones" exist in Paris, where non-Muslims are unofficially forbidden to go. Footages of the 2005 Riots were used to generalize about the Parisian everyday life. Same exaggerations regarding Birmingham, England, with swift reaction from David Cameron. Sensationalist Fox has already admitted the mistakes and apologized. Forget the sly old fox, enjoy Dumber Baby Fox.

Civilian Targets

Seems that Jane Fonda will soon lead a sitting protest at Moulmein... -
There is no coincidence. Attack a Kosher grocery on the day before the Sabbath, and you can be sure that you will find plenty of hostages at hand. You can be sure that after this terrible drama, a new batch of Parisian Jews will make their Aliyah to Israel. In the present climate, the hemorhagge is not to end.

The media circus during the siege of the Kouachis. Appalling. It reminds me of the siege of anarchist Bonnot in 1912, over 500 policemen and soldiers surrounding one single assassin, with crowds of onlookers coming to picnic with family, attend the kill and comment the outcome. Undeserved honor rendered to scumbags in both cases. The older I get, the more I find that mankind deserves no respect. No offender taken alive means no trial, means that a mass crime is treated as a non-affair. In 2012, up to six elite cops had been wounded trying to take Mohammed Merah alive after absurd direct orders from President Sarkozy. This time, priority was given to the lives of policemen, that's a good point. Cold meat is dangerous only if poorly cooked.

VPAF Awards & Pilots for Wings over Vietnam
Capitaine Vengeur posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
File Name: VPAF Awards & Pilots for Wings over Vietnam File Submitter: Capitaine Vengeur File Submitted: 09 January 2015 File Category: SF/WO* Hanger/Menu/Loadout Aren't you tired at spending lots of your missions in the U.S.-sided campaigns of WoV flying a bomb truck, either trying to crush a handful of black pyjamas in the jungle, or to survive the vicious flak and SAMs over Hanoi? Don't you dream instead of a campaign completely devoted to interceptions, dogfights, the blazing air-to-air combat across the clouds over home country, facing a superior enemy that puts the challenge very high? So give a try to the Red side of the 'Nam! Such campaigns do exist at CombatAce, provided by eburger68, that makes the MiG interceptors flyable. Now I do provide the faces behind your cockpit, and the awards for your guts. This mod provides you with a large panel of decorations for the Vietnam People's Air Force. Lots of pilots pics have also been added, with Soviet hard helmet for the MiG-21 pilots, and soft leather skullcap for the MiG-17/-19 pilots. The complete list of your available decorations is displayed here: VPAF : Order of Ho Chi Minh Hero of the People's Military Order of the Military (3 Classes, each one awarded only once) Victory Order (3 Classes, multiple awards possible) Glorious Soldier Order (3 Classes, each one awarded only once) Resistance Order (2nd Class) Resistance Medal (2nd Class) Glorious Soldier Medal Uncle Ho Badges (multiple awards possible) Click here to download this file -

Vietnam, exactly. I read this story of an U.S. general talking with a North Vietnamese general, after the War: "You know, we never lost any one battle." The Viet answered: "It is true." and after a moment: "It is also irrelevant."

Well, without foreign support by now, how long before President Ghani's body is exposed in Kabul as part of the Najibullah Club of shattered foreign-planted puppets?

On 16 December 1944, Hitler launched his most famous last gamble, Operation Wacht am Rhein, with 3 armies assaulting by complete surprise 5 U.S. divisions (including 3 green ones), stretching out on a very extensive range: the Belgian Ardennes were then considered as the most quiet sector of the front, ideal to harden new divisions and rest exhausted ones (remember Verdun 1916?). Among the famous moments of that hectic, epic, and icy page of History, one could name: the largest surrender in the open in the U.S. History (surrounded 422nd & 423rd Rgts, completely green troops), the Malmédy Massacre and the American many individual acts of retaliation that followed, the epic yet vain breakthrough of the S.S. Kampfgruppe Peiper, the last major operation of the German paratroopers, McAuliffe's famous "Nuts!!" reply at Bastogne, the disturbing attempts by Skorzeny's disguised commandoes to disorganize the American lines, the annihilation of the 2. Pz.Div.'s spearhead East of Dinant at the maximal extent of the German offensive, the incredible and costly Operation Bodenplatte lauching all of the Luftwaffe strengths in an all-out assault against the Allied airbases of Belgium and the Netherlands on the New Year's Day, the ordeal of thousands of Belgian civilians slaughtered either by Nazi reprisals or Allied bombings...

Shocking pictures... Whatever support the Talibans may have had among the Pakistani population, they can divide it by ten for long.

When I watched that, I just thought about one more extravagant character by Sacha Baron Cohen! A few more 'terrorists' that kind, and the Islamist cause will be buried under tons of ridicule, sniggers and facepalms...

He just has no time for it. How many time does it take to count $4.000.000.000, and recover from temporary madness?
