I get a failed to load message on certain missions. For example, in the bomber mode after the 5th mission or so the rail yard bombing missions fail to load and kicks me back to the duty room. Some times in the DID campagin that was the only flight on that day so I am force d to skip a day. The recon/ Aty missions do seem to work ok. Any one have any Ideas? The other campagins pilots seem find .

Dont know if I am that Computer smart ? I am still trying to down load Skins and a Hollywood type damage model. What I did was in the Campaign I just skiped the bombing missions and flew only the Recon/Arty flights granted it takes a long long to build a 17 hour pilot ( 15 days) But I got on with the game Thanks for checkin on me. I have been hearing about Storm of War for a long time but it just never seems to get done. Off is here and is playable. The eye candy looks good on this old machine and I have a lot of fun and new friends. In conclusion, I agree with Unclear about if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we would have a fine Xmas. I was over at a site called The Yellow Airplane.com and spotted a French DVD with an English Actor in the film.The information says that The the film is about a Pilot who overcomes handicaps to Knock down a lot of a/c during WWI. Any one ever see it? Does anyone have it? Its caled Angels Wing dont know when it was made. Its in French but has sub titles. Thanks

Well The critics didnt like this film, of course they didnt like Flyboys. I have the DVD and saw Flyboys along with the grandson and we liked it. The critics didnt like the Red Baron film but if it shows up in the U.S. I will buy it. In conclusion, I think I will buy this one too. Thanks Guys for your input.

As I was playing the bomber role in Sig s DID campagin, I started to wonder when my backseater would run out of ammo. This of course bags the question? 1. How much? 2. Were different amounts carried in different a/c? How many Drums ? The Lewis normally had 47 Rds in a signal drum,but what of the german Parabellum used on the german bombers? The main concern for researchers should the a/c in the DID en- virorment. Just wondering? Ref: for the Lewis Gun is" Flying Fury" mcCudden s Book.

As always U were spot on, The lewis as used for a/c did indeed have the 47 Rd drum and the 97 Rd drum one was even fitted to a Wright Flyer It may very well be that it was a weight = drag thingy on the a/c so some pilots chosed the lighter pan 47 drum mag. Well on to the German ammo issue. ( Info was by internet)

My addition might be off, But the Lewis mounted on a N-17 shows 291 Rds = 6 Drums of 47 Rds and some left over signal bullets ( 291 - 6x 47) 9 Rds. So I guess Mc Cudden was wrong or he had non-standard Drums.

Ive Played SH4 a while back but didnt think it was as good overall as SH 3. I still hual out the U Boat every now ang then and raid the convoy routes.

Just FRAPS -Inn around is great. Its the main reason why I will keep this old computer setup and running as long as I can. You could use FRAPS as a gun camera for any game or as a story telling device such as a war patrol in a Sub. ( Slient Hunter 3 comes to mind and BoB wings of Victory, Jutland ?. I FRAPS as much as I can. Its so relaxing unless U goof up The story board or upload some place in your computer that U will never find.
