In the late 80's I had the honor of "watching" a family friends father who was suffering from alzhiemers.He was a colonel who was a great war vet.he couldn't understand why he couldn't be in his home or who his wife was but the mans mind could recall with detail the trenches and the men whom he fought beside and led into battle.I wish I had the forsite to write the stories he told me down.he passed away a few months latter and now 20 years latter I still think of the stories and the faceless names he would tell me about.Im my mind WW1 was the last war where people went out thinking about glory and adventure.the realitiies were that modern industialism made it into a blood bath.those men who fought on all sides have nothing but my respect,every war is unique but somthing about the great war has always captured my interest.God bless all veterans of all wars and lets hope that in the future no blood needs to be shed.

I'm usualy careful but after a few beers you just somtimes do somthing with out much thought.

freakin great job to myself. I deleted on of my installs and it happened to be the one I was using to test these skins in.I only had a back up of the Su-17.I should have that one ready in the next day or so.the mig is a total loss but I plan on redoing it so it will get done in the next week or so.sorry about any delays.

How rare or how common an aircraft is has alot to do with how often somthing will apear.that is definened in the data.ini.Also In WOV i think most stock aircraft have end dates set to end with the end of the Vietnam war.If you use a third party plane after that time none of the stock baddies will show.

I have one comment and one question. these are very needed and look absolutly great,thank you. are the little dudes on the roofs of the buildings modeled as part of the buildings or are they seperate?they would make excellent light AA for many theaters if they are seperate ground objects.

As with any of my skins they are up for use in any mod but they wern't made for any one campaign particularly.The "boxes" on the back of the Mig-23MLD are chaff/flare launchers.

i was kinda inspired by this picture. while not perfect it was inspired by rather than a copy proper. It is made for the MLD but should work ok with most of the MF Mig-23s

my opinion is that there is so much difference between the Devastator and the Avenger that they really are not suited to stand in for one another.Might I sugest that the Japanese Kate be used as a substitute with a more sutable skin it will look much more like the Devastator.

I would have to say yes.His flight models make such a difference for me that I can't even think of going back to the stock ones.on a scale of 1-10 I would rate them 25.Also he has made some modifications to gundata ini to make the damage more realistic.the SPAD VII addons are also must haves.

off the top of my head I think you could set the rail up as a rocket pod able to hold the missile you want the I think the rail could be dropped.

I must agree.as a Su-7 fan it's a great addition.Being an ex Offensive lineman I seem drawn to things that are large with short endurance.

yes some weapons were left the color of the 3d model by the authors.Most will have a texture file(.bmp) but some won't.if you open the .lod in a hex editor or even notepad you can see at the bottom what texture file is assigned to the weapon.

I would suggest getting the updated flight models frol P10ppy when you get comfortable with the game.They make a real difference in the game.Welcome to the thirwire second adiction game.WW1 can be really hard to put down once you get started.
