Some GREAT advice here, thanks all! I'll take it to heart as I soldier on in my campaign. Always lead seems like a good bit of advice, but a few questions: If you stick with the first flight will your wingmen follow you or the planed route? Also, does the first flight with the aces in it fly the same mission plan as the second flight? Lastly; what are the controls for the AI? Do I have to tell them to attack a specific target or can I just push a "turn 'em loose!" button? Thanks again for all the help guys!

Hopefully this is something that the devs can look into. Its not a big problem (just avoid the semicolon, of course) but for those that dont know to do that, its can be a bit problematic. Just glad I could be of service!

I was flying last night and happened to encounter AFC-2 and Jasta 23 doing a number on each other. My wingman and I headed into combat to help AFC-2 out (we are members of AFC-4). I must either be better than I thought or REALLY lucky because I was able to down 5 Pfalz IIIa's in about 6 minutes (on 100% realism no less)! Needless to say when we got back to our Aerodrome I had a lot of explaining to do. I wrote the description for all the kills in the one claim slot. I put all 5 kills into 1 claim slot because it was all 1 event more or less. I was constantly breaking off of one and onto the next. When I finished the claim form and submitted it I looked in my claim log and it only showed my description of my 1st kill! It still shows that I claimed 5 but only showed my description of 1, and didnt show my wittnesses either. Anyone know why? Another question: This happened almost exactly on top of a friendly airfield, can I list that airfield as a wittness? What about the AFC-2 airmen that were up there as well? In the wittness form it says to only put the first and last name of a wittness so I'm a bit confused. LOVING this game so far! What a blast!

So I'm not sure if anyone has found a solution to this (or cares) but its because of the semicolon key. If you use a semicolon in your report it thinks thats the end. (sorry to kick back up an old thread)

As I write this my pilot is 6 missions in, a little over 5 hours in fight and I already have 14 claims filed. I dont know if they have been approved or not but the point is, it seems like all I've been doing since I started my campaign is knocking Albatroses out of the sky left and right. Dont get me wrong, its fun and all, and challenging at times but it seems a little to easy. All the settings in the workshop are turned to realsitic settings. Any ideas? I havent even had anyone on my tail yet. I think I've only been shot at 3 times since I started my campaign. It seems like most of what the Albatroses do is swoop down and climb up, over and over again regardless if someone is behind them or in front of them, or nowhere near them. Just a little while ago, I did a quick combat against 3 Fokker Dr1 ace pilots and shot all 3 of them down pretty much un-opposed. Please dont get me wrong i'm not complaining or attacking the game at all. I love every second of it I just wonder if I maybe missed something somewhere? Or maybe something got installed wrong? Thanks for any suggestions!

Lol. I'm no ace but I do know how to fight. My sliders are: Overall 4 Plane 5 Scenery 4 Terrain 4 Effects 5 Clouds 5 I am currently flying Phase III, and loving it! The game is recently patched. I should note too that after posting my original message I got smacked out of the sky like a mosquito the very next mission and was killed.

When I'm flying, or sitting on the ground I'm getting weird texture flashes that come up at random on my screen. arent just on the ground textures either, it seems to be everywhere, they just appear as black spots/lines for a fraction of a second then go away. It happens throughout the whole flight. Any Ideas? All graphics sliders set on 3. Specs: Vista Premium 64bit 4gig RAM GTX 285 1gb. SB X-FI X-treme Intel Core 2 Duo 3.16 Ghz
