  1. Olham; That mini suit case bar looks far to big to fit into the cockpit of a WW1 aircraft don't you think? Is it not something he would have kept at his base and taken on journeys by car or passenger aircraft? Best Regards
  2. Just found a vid of the snipe in flight and it appears to be the same one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLWPf2D0HLg
  3. Thanks Cap'n; That was a great vid on the Snipe. Also a nice historical reference to the "Red Devil" ornament on the gun barrel which was unique to Barker. Didn't know it was still in manufacture!! I must check to see if there is a second part to the vid. Best Regards;
  4. I just took a look at the "Downloads" section and it appears at first glance that Eric has recovered all the files. Cudos to Eric!! If anyone notices and problems In the Downloads area, please share the info. Best Regards to all;
  5. Dave/Erik; Subscription upgrade donation in the mail! Your efforts are much appreciated by all I'm sure. We often fail to credit those who work in the background but\ I'm sure we all appreciate your efforts. Please post a message when you feel you have completed the recovery so we will know when to react and add any missing files that we contributed. Best Regards
  6. Well, The following message appears when I look at the "skins" I had uploaded before. Any suggestions on how to best address and clean this up would be appreciated. I would have no problem in resubmitting them once I know how to best address it.
  7. OFFice/OFFbase/OFFworld 1.1.0 now available!

    I asked the same question some time ago and was informed that they would not co-exist. Things sometimes change so it might be a good question to ask again. Hopefully "Pol" will see your post and reply. Best Regards;

  14. Embodiment of WOFF?

    Hey ZoomZoom; Keep on posting, as it alleviates the boredom of having so little posted these days. Always good to hear from fellow simmers. Best Regards; CaptSopwith; been following your threads with Olham on the skins. Just which craft do you have skins for from Olham? I have done a few myself and if any fill the hole for you then no problem. Best Regards;
  15. Embodiment of WOFF?

    If you look back at the various threads regarding WOFF you will probably deduce that it is a full install that only requires CFS3, but it probably won't be long until someone starts adding mods and such because that is the nature of the human race. We are never satisfied with results and always try to make improvements. If anyone has a different opinion, feel free to correct me. Best Regards;
  16. Summer Update?

    Hi Cap; Like everyone else I'm chomping at the bit to get WOFF, but in the mean time I play OFF P3 exclusively when I have the time. I never seem to tire of it. I'm retired so I spend most of my time doing things I like. Hope you and yours are keeping well. Best Regards;
  17. Thanks Shiloh, for the post, I was really interested in you relating your experiences. I have been to Gettysburg and found it to be a very good interpretive site. I had the chance to speak with site staff interpreters who were fully dressed as union cavalry and riding on the site. I suspect much of your re-enactment was filmed and will be on the web site http://totalgettysburg.com/ How was the weather for you during your stay? Best Regards;
  18. I've never really given any thought to this before until now and it leaves me scratching my head so I put it to the OFF techies for an answer! Whenever I finish a mission and am over my base ready to land, all my AI squad veer off. They don't land at our base where they originally took off with me. Where the hell do they go?? I tried following two of them and finally tired of the chase. Is there an AI aerodrome somewhere in AI land which I am not privileged to find? Is this an OFF or CFS trait or are my squad mates as Barmy as me? Best Regards;
  19. just for the record, here is a sample of my mods and vids of what happens. It's not a big issue now as it is fixed in WOFF and we will have it soon! mods: excuse poor vid quality! I had some conversion issues! vid of AI landing crash: http://youtu.be/vkbjrkR8h84 Best Regards all;
  20. Hi Pol...nice to see your still visiting the threads. Thanks for your input on this matter. Actually I have no problem with take-offs, but it's difficult to stay close to the AI as they outrun me which I suspect is because their weight is less. It seems only to be the landings that the aircraft over run the field. I take it from your comment It seems it won't be a problem in WOFF. Best Regards Pol;
  21. Hi Lothar; So then...If we take off lightly fueled, and then refuel in the air before landing, everything should be hunky dory.....right!
  22. Well, I guess all of you are correct. I waited on the airfield for my squad to come back in after they overshot the runway. They did return and made perfect landings but unfortunately ran on past the end of the runway some distance before coming to a complete stop and one of them ran into a tree. C'est la vie!! Best regards;
  23. Thanks Olham; I did follow two of them in a straight line past the airfield but it seemed to take forever and I finally exited. I guess I have to be more patient and stay with them longer.
  24. Surfaced

    Olham; It felt more like I was going through withdrawl!!
