  1. According to some of my online research it would appear you are correct. At least some were made there. Can't seem to determine if there was any additional locations.
  2. The Sage Type 2...

    Very interesting find! Somewhat ahead of it's time with the closed cockpit. I wonder if the high upper wing had any interesting effect on the flight performance. Were there any references to performance? Best Regards
  3. You perked my interest with your ? Hairyspin. I'm now wondering what the process would be to get a model into the sim if your created one with Blender. Hopefully someone can identify the process or maybe there is a long lost faq file somewhere that may outline the process. It would be interesting to explore if only for appreciation. Best Regards;
  4. Is this a Lloyd?

    Olham; That is an interesting photo of the mercedes engine. Do you have any details/background on that photo? Looks like it is in someone's livingroom.
  5. It's Baaaack!

    Oh My!!! Guess you'll have to call work and tell them you can't get in!!! Then go back to your PC and play OFF until the snow melts!!!
  6. I Must Confess....

    So now the next step is to "Catalogue" all those files for easy retrieval, Right???
  7. Anti-Camel-Trick

    Thnaks Lou for setting things straight. I wonder if the boys have addressed these OFF Camel short comings in WOFF! Best Regards;
  8. Anti-Camel-Trick

    Lou; In the sim I have not found it difficult to match the alb in left hand turns. I do bleed off speed if I let the camel use her inherent desire to climb in that turn and I have to be sure not to puchs the turn to hard as she doesn't like it. What say you on this and how it might relate to reality (the real camel),
  9. Anti-Camel-Trick

    In response to your quote Olham, I can't speak at all to performance of the real camel and you may be correct in your statement "An effect which isn't represented very much in any flight sim". I will however say that in my experiences flying the camel in OFF I find the camel turn very quickly to the right with the advantage of losing altitude as the torque wants the camel to spiral down to the right, but it also makes the camel want to climb very rapidly in a hard left turn and you have to work hard to keep her down. Both these moves have decided advantages and would work well in keeping up with the albatros in the scenario that is being put forward in this thread. I have had no difficulty so far in out turning an albatross, even in a left turn. You just have to be gentle and not make any snap motions and she will not falter and spin. In other words, start the turn gently and then press slowly towards agressive.. Those are my views, but I would suspect that Louvert could put a conclusion to this discussion for all. Best Regards;
  10. Do you suppose, in the mean time, an interactive video would satisfy our lust for WOFF!!
  11. Is this a Lloyd?

    Looks like it could have been an early precursor to the WWII Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet based on its profile in the photo, albeit a stubby one!!
  12. It's difficult to tell from the photo, what time of year it is. If it was late summer to early winter, a tan would be quite possible and probable. Just compare his complexion with the man behind him and you will see that they are quite similar in my altered photo. I do agree that the sun angle is at play here and your suggestion is quite plausible as confirmed by the location of the shadows on his face, and the light flare on the far right where it shows in his coat flaps. Good observation (Sherlock)Olham!
  13. so with a little fix.... Albeit, very crude at that.....voila!! Grainy but not so black!
  14. I would like to put forward that the darkness could be the result of the development process of the film. High contrast and under pushed during dev.
  15. Pol; Awesome!! Is all I can think to say!!
  16. Von Baur; For reasons only known to you, you felt compelled to share a very personal aspect of your life and we are all the richer for it! Your post caused me to reflect on my own life and I'm sure it affected others in a positive way as well. I share your grief as I have been there too many times with different members of my family. My thoughts are with you, and thank you very much for your reflection. Best Wishes
  17. Anyone Ready For a New FM?

    Lothar; When I install the dowloaded files, the documentation does not get installed in the specific JSGME mod folder. It never has for any of the mod folders. It does show up in the high level MODS folder but would be better placed in the specific folder for that mod that it applies to and would be replaced with every further update, otherwise every update change results in mutiple levels of documentation all lumped under the "MODS" high level folder which is very messy.
  18. Anyone Ready For a New FM?

    I downloaded the mod last night and it ran fine, but may I make a suggestion that you append the designation 4.0 to the folder name so people will be able to know what version they are looking at in the JSGME mod. Have a great day.
  19. I say the ipad for sure! They spend more time indoors these days than outdoors! Not like my generation! Kids also seem to like to be entertained rather than create entertainment and the ipad has this in spades! Not what I would like to hear but that's life!!
