  1. Ive found the stuff from 1916! Might start putting it in a seperate thread.
  2. Looks like it makes no difference what version of windows it runs on.... for the record my medals have never reapeared.
  3. Just a thought but when was MvR shot down and hospitalised? Maybe they thought he was dead then...
  4. Lol sorry forgot to put it up!
  5. SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 1917 Von richtofen is dead!!!.... in 1917?..... Think they need to check thier sources.
  6. Out of interest... if anyone finds any source of replica bars for second award medals let me know, so far only found basic medal
  7. Dowe know what planes are already on the way?... Snipe, DH4, Gunbus, Tabloid.... take your pick!
  8. She'd get my vote!
  9. Its not really about whether it matters... its about taking the time to give feedback to the devs to help them polish their game as it is obvious they are getting close to a profesional product. I think it is the least we can do to help them as I don't expect they can afford to hire playtesters. With constant feedback from players they can make the game perfect alot easier.
  10. Not even a cake? So it seems the bug effects all pilots! I bet microsoft are to blame in one way or another! I REALLY hope you mean POLL
  11. Huzzah looks like Ive found a bug! do i win a prize? :) German pilots all seem to keep their medals here is a post from Ryan H showing his... http://forum.combata...rn-his-passing/ There are many more screenshots of deceased and captured german flyers on the forum.... all with thier medals still there. Also... I dont know if it is possible with the limitations of CFS3 or if there are already any plans to update the medals in game.... is it possible to correct the miss-alocation of DFCs? Shouldnt be getting them with an RFC pilot at all. They were only ever awarded in the RAF in the last months of the war. It also wasnt unkown to recieve foreign medals, british pilots where often awarded the croix de guerre by the french or Belgians. Also noticed that the Iron cross first class is missing?
  12. actually what is more amazing is that the celeron runs at 1.2! I havent edited the file, and it has happened with all my pilots (they are so far all british) I will start up a german pilot to see if the same occurs. Does anyone have a dead british pilot who has still got his medals? Not sure I understand the medals - bodies thing lol. Medals arent burried with people they are sent back to thier families... makes no odds whether there is a body or not as they certainly wouldnt be wearing medals while flying, they are only worn for ceremonial occasions, at all other times a ribbon strip is worn. Different with germans as they wore the actual medals, british soldiers dont, it would be far to showy for english modesty!
  13. Sorry if this is the wrong place, not sure where bug reports are supposed to be posted. Anyone else had this bug? Not sure if it is all medals but DFCs always dissapear when a pilot dies. Happened to a couple of pilots now... never got any other type of medal so dont know if it is all bugged... I'm sure ive seen screenshots of german medals on deceased characters though. Now you see them... Now you don't! Still says medals 3 though
  14. as far as I can work out that is 1-3 am here or 12-2 if you are really on daylight saving (EDT) now... Either way to late for me :)

  19. Blast! Now I have to buy 2 Bars!
  20. Very nice medal, Ive been thinking about investing in some more antiques, might go for some medals or maybe an original uniform. I'd love to see your WW1 display when finished!
  21. And for the record the telephone works! bit crackly though and try explaining to a call center that you cant press 1 when you have a turn dial!
  22. Or perhaps I really do live in 1916....
  23. Cool, alot of classic car restorers... sadly I cant afford to run one anymore. My first Car at 17 was a 1957 Rover '60' Saloon (sedan to americans). I ran it for 10 years....except of course when it wasnt running. Then replaced it with a 93 Jaguar XJ6... until I couldnt afford that, now stuck in a very dull peugeot 206. As for hobbies..... British dark age history WW1 history Napoleonic History Compuer gaming Art (quit my job and gone back to university studying Illustration) Wargaming Roleplaying games Live Roleplay (no... nothing like the wierd and terrifying thing you call LRP in the US! Over here its more like reenactment and doesnt involve many teenagers).. in the process of planning a ww2 event in fact. DIY (when pestered by fiance sufficiently) I play piano and sing at open mic nights (mainly blues) Oh and of course as an Englishman I binge drink at least once a week! But over the last couple of weeks I mainly just play OFF... youve ruined my life!... oh well back to the airfield...
  24. Found this on youtube, some nice info and aircraft. Its in several parts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmu-UdAAKdY&feature=related
