The negative side of flying "zoomed out" is that it is so damn hard to spot and actually focus on the enemy jets.

In the book Vipers in the Storm by Keith Rozenkranz a.k.a Rosey he describes how he locks up targets on the groundradar for easier tracking when engaging them. I cant remeber what block F-16 it was though. He is describing his missions that he flew during operation desert storm. What model F-16 did those guys fly? And why was my comment inapropriate?

Did I say that a TW model had a lockable groundradar? The F16 has a lockable ground radar in real life that is what you mean.

my only wish is lockable objects in groundradar. right now the groundradar is useless.

Ive seen this on other forums. So i take no credit for the idea itself. Some people enjoy playing around with photoshop like i do and making silly signature pictures. Why not rate them for each other?? Ok, these are the rules. § 1. You are not allowed to rate your own signature, ex dubbel posting to rate on your self. § 2. Once you get rated you are not allowed to post again until you change your signature. Once you change your signature post the change along with a pic of your previouse sign in your next post so we all know that you have changed. (thank you serverandenforcer for finding the loop hole in the rule) § 3. The scale of rating is between 0-10 where 10 is "AWESOME" and 0 is "God damn thats ugly!" Happy rating! Edit: Criticism is allowed. So fire away with the guns! Just makes it more fun

With that mentality we should ban all games. I lost a friend in a motorcycle accident. Should MC games be banned? OR why not WW2 games? Lots of people died there aswell. I dont see how someone is making a mockery when playing a game. It is afterall just a game. I belive these soldiers are mature enough to actually make theire own decision in what is mockery and what is not. But some stuck up guy just has to feel powerful by making that decision for everyone. This has nothing to do with respect.

I read somewhere that the GR.3 had some kind of laser device in the nose. What i cannot find out is if this device was used to designate targets for LGB or not. Can someone plz shed some light on this question. Thank you!

Have i missed that feature in the game or is it not present? I cant find it in the cockpit. There is only audio.

Thanks guys That explains it all. I have one more question if its not to much. On the wiki page for the GR.3 it says that the GR.3 was upgraded with an RWR. Was it an actual RWR or was it a audio only RWR?

As the title states the Su-27 shows up as a Mig-29 symbol in the TWS. This is for NF4+ with the latest patch. Is it supposed be like this, limitations in the game engine? If not is there a way to fix it. I am no .ini guru. Ive tried looking trough the .ini files but i have no clue what to look for. Thanx

I started a new NF4+ campaign flying the Tornado GR1A. What i have noticed is that the GR1A does not have a modern HUD with CCIP and such but the GR1B does. Ive tried to find some information about this but i cant find anything. Do you guys know if this is true or should they be the same? In my mind these two variants of the jet are very similar and should have the same HUDs or am i wrong? And if you dont understand what i am talking about i have provided some screens so you can tell the difference. Thanx "GR1B With modern HUD" "GR1A, this is all you get. Makes it hard to drop bombs.
