I'm loving it as well. Do you take gunpods or just the missiles? These old sidewinders are not so good against the fast turning migs! I think I'll start taking gunpods as they never keep still enough for a sidewinder hit.

It's the F-4C I'm flying. So I guess we can't glance at the range knob position in game :) Do most people just fly with HUD set to normal to get around cockpit issues? Is there a way to customise the HUD so that we only get messages like "radar range set to 50" and "flaps set to landing" etc, but still hide the speed/alt bar from the bottom left of the screen? Any files we can edit/mod to do this? It's so nice flying without the game HUD I get more immersed. Cheers

Hi All, Does anyone see pink AAA tracers coming up from the ground in Vietnam with the air and ground war expanded mod? Flak bursts are normal but the tracers leading up to them are pink. Thanks

Yeah they do help in turning. Also: -Increase your roll rate like if you need to split S quickly turn around -AIMING for firing the cannon, last minute corrections to get that final bullet in :) I have simped rudder pedals, only a small company but very nice and wide, very smooth.

Looking forward to this more than anything else it will transform the sim. I mostly play online only at the moment, but this will make single player draw me in so much more

That's a good review, detailed and fair. When they release the two seaters in March plus the new career mode it's going to be the best sim ever
