Nothing beats a good doner with lashings of garlic mayo from a van of death Standard meal after a good night out! Salad? Pah! Who needs a healthy section

Not many "decent" fast food places over here, but I always go for the West Cornwall Pasty Company if I can. They make awesome pasties. Either that or Gregg's.

Dave are you doing the Mike's A-10 pack at all? If not I'll do that. -

When did the USMC operate the UH-1H? -
/Rant on This is ridiculous. Fair enough the workers should maybe have cordoned the manhole off, but what ever happened to looking where one is going? Classic example of how some people are always trying to put the blame on someone else and reap money out of it. Oh and... Bullsh1t. Stick it in a washing machine and shut the hell up. /Rant off

Maybe not necessarily a "strange" sighting, but something that I won't ever forget seeing is this, from 2003 at RIAT... http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/L...hawk/0389641/L/

An idea has just popped into my mind after watching a documentary today.... Seeing as he's a Belgian, Godfrey of Bouillon in Belgium was a leader of the First Crusade and the Knights Template group, not a bad way to go down in history. Not the most recent of famous military men but maybe a thought. (Probably a bad one at that.)

Strange shades on vampire
Jimbib replied to knug's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
If you look at section 14 of MigBuster's post in this thread here, it shows you how to use the new shadow format... http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...st&p=301650 It should work, I tried this out on Pasko's Vampire yesterday and it worked okay. -
Strange shades on vampire
Jimbib replied to knug's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Which method of the aircraft's shadow being cast are you using? I think the latest patched WOE doesn't requires the .shd file, but can cast the shadow off the main aircraft .lod itself. -

Someone with 2009 Max?

This is going to sound very simple, but is it anything to do with the polycount being pushed over the limit? -
Screenshot Thread
Jimbib replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
You can thank the bunch of pr!cks also known as the British tabloid press for turning that word into a derogatory slur some years back. Anyway, back on track, this is a screenshot thread. -
Been twice before, can't go this year though due to a holiday. Definitely worth it, just make sure you see all the flying displays and get round as many of the statics as possible to get your money's worth. Even though there's a lot on show this year, it's still quite a steep price. What should be great is the 44 (yes, you read correctly) flying Royal Navy aircraft taking place not to mention numerous others including the Vulcan. I managed to go with cadets a few years ago on the press day which was almost even better; all the same aircraft but without the crowds. Have a look over at this forum for all the latest gossip and news about RIAT... http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=19 Last word of advice, pray it doesn't rain!

Su-30MKI crashes, pilot killed
Jimbib replied to ghostrider883's topic in Military and General Aviation
This is getting OT, but to be honest mate you're just ignoring the blunt obvious fact that the Russian's were thinking about quantity as opposed to quality when they produced their aircraft. Regardless of the capabilities of them, the build quality and reliability simply does not match that of western aircraft. The levels of quality control and quality assurance are quite different between the two sides. -
I think that game is being played at the Coca Coca stadium, I was there earlier this month and it's quite a nice place.

You mean that really awesome L98A1 that is beloved by oh so many?

Lol my gross error, but still how did they rank higher? Much better than STP any day.

Agree with C5's original post, don't believe a lot of stuff belongs in that list. So Stone Temple Pilots make it, but not a single ZZ Top song? Bullsh!t, Scott Weiland is an absolute pr!ck.

F-22A Version 2.01 Update
Jimbib replied to Dave's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
That is true, although I believe there may be limitations to either role in game depending on which avionics dll file is chosen. -
That's actually ridiculous. That amount of texts a month on my pay as you go phone would cost £1,400. Oh and the last section... ...biggest load of horse sh*t ever. I don't even know where to begin, and she's supposed to be a Psychology graduate.
