Having just finished studying cosmology for 6 months in school I do have an interest in it a bit, however any of my comments such as "ooh look, there's Sirius A" get a response along the lines of "shut up Jimmy." NFG, you may be interested in this, if you haven't seen it already that is, Nasa's Astronomy Picture of the Day... http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ EDIT: By the way, did anyone see the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus in February?

Usually the BBC for me. It's simple yet effective, I have a pop-out tab in firefox that gives me the latest news at any time of the day from them. Also anything that isn't a tabloid website since they are full of crap. For an example read anything from the Daily Mail or Mirror.
