Question about A-4 addons
Jimbib replied to Wolf65's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
When you have your sim fully patched up, the A-4F is flyable in Strike Fighters and Wings Over Vietnam. It is not ready flyable in Wings Over Europe. However, the files for the A-4F are in the ObjectData.CAT file of WOE so all you have to do is extract the appropriate files and add a skin to it. -

Interesting Constant Peg Photos
Jimbib replied to Nicholas Bell's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I would imagine its done by a concave/convex "lense" in the middle of the glass HUD window. You can the slightly rounded "circle" of the HUD in the pic. Pretty much a magnifying glass. -

DC-130 Drone mothership
Jimbib replied to lazboy's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
That should be okay to do (I think), I would imagine the main steps to make it work are... 1. Take the BMW-34 lod file and create a new weapon with it (probably a cruise missile) 2. Make a new aircraft from the C-130, and edit the ini files so that it will have the correct weapon stations, loadouts, etc. 3. New paintjob to suit the aircraft 4. About a gazillion testing hours. A lot of the information and instruction you will need can be found here in the Knowledge Base. One possible snag; you may need a modeler to make you some new pylons for the drones. -

Hell if I could afford it I would. I'd make a guess that the "unidentified Russian" was Roman Abramovich

Grampsflightsims.com?
Jimbib replied to Baltika's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I run Firefox, but I just checked the site in Internet Explorer and it opens up fine. Seems like there are some issues with different areas being able to get access to his site. The same thing happened a while ago when ACFCentral was still up, some could get to it easily, for others it simply didn't show. -
The toranado (He means Tornado)
Jimbib replied to Viper6's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
If you are referring to an available Panavia Tornado for SF/WOV etc, there is one in the downloads section in the Modern Era Aircraft section. -
