  1. This update is great. I was able to plot out missile and gun muzzle positions with ease. A far cry from the trial and error I had to go through when I last updated the Slava's data file.

    Interesting news. I wonder what the wreck looks like on the sea floor. This is the condition Yamato is in.
  5. The LOD Viewer can't seem to find stock First Eagles 2 LOD's. It can read them if they have been extracted but it can't find them in the CAT's.
  6. The LOD Viewer does not seem to see .TGA files nor does it see colored materials without a texture.
  7. Just figured out what I was doing wrong. If select the LOD file then it is just the model. If I select the object's main INI file then I get texture.
  8. Wrench, try putting the textures in the same folder as the LOD and reload. That is what I had to do to view the textures on the Indepencence-CVL.
  9. The stock SF2:NA EA-6B has its jammer set up in the EA-6B_data.ini. The only thing it can carry externally are ARM's so it is likely that the AI will not use external jamming pods.

  11. I have taken a look at the LST MK1 HellisDeck and it has two issues. It is lacking a collision mesh and it does not have a flight deck collision mesh. It needs the first in order to be sold to other objects and it needs to second for the aircraft to land on a ship. Without it any landing attempt will be a crash.

    Maybe the sidewinder mounts on the F-22 will help as they are pointed at a downward angle.   13. There should be a lot of AAA. I recall Robin Olds saying in an interview that according to his intelligence reports there were more AA weapons within 100 miles of Hanoi than the Germans had in all of Europe in WWII.

  15. "Weapons Pack 2 vers 1.0" by ravenclaw_007 has the Penguin listed under its US designation AGM-119A. There is both a "WeaponDataType=1" IIR Homing variant and an SF2:NA "WeaponDataType=7" ASM variant in the pack. Be sure to credit ravenclaw_007 if you use it.

  17. Try this, open the missing aircraft's folder and look at its main INI file. Under [AircraftData] is it missing "CockpitDataFile=" entry missing?

  21. Do335, how much are you using from the "SF2 Korean War Era Misc Items" pack?
  22. I did not just mean the ones in those links, I meant a look over and edit of the data.ini for every ship you are including in the pack. It would not interfere with any other mods as KAW is meant for a standalone install.
  23. Yes it does. It is running in my SF2:NA mods folder. It will appear as a terrain named "Range" that you can select in the single missions screen.
