Using Julhelm's Template this is a Fictional scheme for his AFX.

This scheme represents the embarked scheme (from Vampyre's photos anyways) of VF-31 Tomcatters CO bird in 2006.
Needless to say this will ONLY work on the Mirage Factory F-14B
Thanks to Dave for additional assistance.

This represents the CAG Bird in 2006 when VF-31 returned back to the states before transitioning to the Super Hornet.
This is an old redo from the old Tomcat to the new Mirage Factory F-14B. NOTE Due to the mapping that this cannot be used on the older
Tomcat models. IF you are looking for that check the skin downloads section as it's still there.
With thanks to Vampyre for his reference photos. Templates are from The Mirage Factory and due to mapping constraints I tried to get it as clean as possible, sorry for any errors.

Original text by David F. Brown:
Don't know if the Swordsmen have finalized a 100th Anniversary of US Naval Aviation paint scheme. I've attached a scheme designed by Author/Historian David F. Brown and Aviation Artist/Illustrator Geoff Martin.
Hopefully, at least to the Swordsmen, this scheme will need no explanation. But for those who are not familiar with VF-32 operations during the Koren War, this scheme is a mix of markings worn by F4U-4 Corsairs
flown by Ens Jesse Leroy Brown, the Navy's first black Naval Aviator and Lt(jg) Thomas Hudner. Lt Hudner was awarded the Congressional Medal Of Honor when he attempted to rescue Ens Brown after he was shot down
over North Korea. Unfortunately, Lt Brown died from injuries sustained in his forced landing. I cannot think of a more fitting tribute to these former Swordsmen.
This scheme was found on the VFA-32 Swordsman Facebook page, and after getting halfway through with it, I found out it wasn't accepted. However, I thought it was pretty cool so I finished it, with the knowledge of
David F. Brown. All original work is form him and Geoff Martin from Afterburner Decals, though none were used.

Due to the specialised tanks, it is only designed for Strike Fighters 2 only.
Drop in the FA-18F directory and fly.
Current scheme, can be used in either SF1 or SF2
This is a modification (that was okay'd by Gepard) that adds more targets to his version 1.0 of the Afghanistan map. Right now it is technically a "beta" but it adds a few more targets, CAS areas to the map. Along the days I'll add more here and there, but is considered to be a seperate mod to his terrain.
README:
Simply extract and put it in the Afghanistan terrain folder, and allow overwrite.
Original work done by Gepard.
If you have suggestions or locations you may have added, please don't hesitate in contacting me.
1.5 Notes:
- With thanks to Gepard, Bagram has been upgraded to a LARGE airbase, allowing B-1s, B-52s or other bombers to take off. Remember that to takeoff without crashing, take off from the eastern side of the runway.
- Modern CAS designations. If you want to use more historic designations, scroll to the bottom of the _targets file and name away.
- More targets in more places, be prepared to fly to the interior. Most of the targets are still on the "ring" but a few inside.

Adapted from two requests, thought I'd just throw this up for good times sakes. Useful for the Mirage Factory Mig-29A Russian, but can be adapted for any other version provided you change the filenames. Template by Sundowner.
Usable only on FastCargo's F-5F, this contains all the necessary files for new skins for the F-5F/Seaqeh he did:

Here's the new model GBU-38 done by rusty_hawk and textured by me, original weapons ini by wpnssgt, which was converted by 331Killerbee.
Note: while setup for SF2, it can be adapted for the SF1 series.

read the readme....
This is a port from my LOMAC days, from a one photo reference. Not much I can find for numbers since I can't find the book yet, but this is a good start anyways.

Since I'm not good with vehicle skins I did a cheapie and went with what I have. Template .bmp included.
For SF2 but readme has instructions for adapting for SF1 series.
Model by Razvan Stanciu
cheap texture by EricJ.
A simple retexture from the bright green to the olive drab that was typical for Soviet/Russian BRDMs. This is for rebel ryder's SA-9 which can be found here:

This is a mod from Wrench and Ghostrider883 (decals as Wrench believes) of the current version of the Indian AF MiG-21. features include new radar, and the ability to launch the R-77 (AA-12 Adder) and A2G missiles as well as other ordnance. Bear in mind that the pit is a stand in only until somebody does a more dedicated cockpit for this bird. It was for the Indo-Pak mod but since I converted it for SF2 Wrench gave me the go-ahead for it, so here it is...
Read the README
For those who downloaded the vehicle prior, change the values in the DATA.ini with these:
Armor[FRONT].Thickness=60
Armor
.Thickness=30
Armor
.Thickness=30
Armor[REAR].Thickness=30
Armor[TOP].Thickness=40
Simply reworked for the SF2 version of the F/A-18F
Drop in the FA-18F directory and fly.
Just something that appealed to me, and applied to this jet. Simply drop in the FA-18F directory and fly.
For SF2 only, read the readme
Skin by EricJ
Decals by pureblue
Something I whipped up based on the Su-30 demonstrator skin.
For SF2 version of the Super Hornet, can be modded for SF1/WoX though..

Not much just added a USER_LIST for Afghanistan
EricJ
Re-adapted for SF2 standards. Not much in the readme except copy and paste the Objects folder and everything will be good to go.
Falls under the Combatace Freeware License Agreement.
Modded for SF2, read the readme.

Starstreak is a British short range surface-to-air missile manufactured by Thales Air Defence Limited (originally Shorts Missile Systems), in Belfast. It is also known as Starstreak HVM where HVM stands for "High Velocity Missile". After launch the missile accelerates to approximately Mach 3.5, at which point it launches three laser beam riding submunitions. The use of three submunitions increases the likelihood of a successful hit on the target. Starstreak has been in service with the British Army since 1997.

Now in version V1.1 with some small corrections (SF1/WoX):
+ The optronics turret does not "crash" into the missile turret anymore.
+ The visual detection range has been somewhat bettered.
+ The thrust curve of the missile has been tweaked to improve the Pk.
+ The seeker FOV has been enlarged to ensure more frequent engagements in high angular velocity conditions.
SF2 adaptations:
-Had to redo the whole missile system, which works.
-Edited for SF2

Main changes is the USERLIST, and the removal of the radar. The actual SA-9 does not have a radar (or an active one, purely passive only), and it will fire at you still (from the rear). It's just been tweaked and changed slightly to reflect the fact it has no radar.
