  2. What started your WW1 aerial interest?

    My interest came from a couple of things. When I started building and flying WW1 RC planes I realised how much more interesting it was than the aerobatic/sport type and started finding out more. Further to that my grandfather joined the RAF in 1919 so I already had a half-interest from delving into his career.

  7. Not my no. 1 most wanted feature but wouldn't it be cool if the map in the cockpit was the one for your mission and you could zoom in on it.

    Hey, Wodin. Calm down, have a beer, go and shoot down a Spad or something. Let him go - you can't please everybody. And don't give up on advising others - it's one of the strengths of this forum I think. .

  16. Wonderful stuff. Don't get me started on ancient Oriental practices - you won't get me to stop. I've been studying them for more than 20 years now. The Katana is, indeed, a sword to be reckoned with. So many of these ancient practices were spiritual practices and that is the key.
  17. It's probably bolted on, Olham. You need a spanner. Why do you need it lowered? You may find a pistol in the cockpit somewhere - you could use that. I only know of shift+c as it applies to the lewis gun. I know on some a/c the field of view is not that good - it just means moving more in your seat to look round the obstacles. Is it that the screen is blocking your view?
