If I'm flying my prefered craft - the SE5 in 1916 - then I'm usually able to out manouvre (have I spelt that right?) most enemy planes of that period so I'll take them head on initially. If it all starts going pear-shaped then I'll dive like mad and hedgehop my way to safety. 9 times out of 10 this works for me. -

I've just watched a programme I recorded a while ago - Top 10 Most Dangerous Airports. Lukla in Nepal (now called Hilary Tenzing I think) was shown as No. 1. It looked like pure luxury compared to when I flew there in the 80's. It's got a tarmac runway now. It wasn't much more than gravel back then. Not my video but this is more like it used to be.

Yes. I was taking time out from working and had travelled across land from the UK - across Europe, Asia. I think 14 countries altogether. The flight to Lukla was equalled in adventure by the bus ride from Jammu to Srinigar in Kashmir. What a journey that was . -

Very true - no second chance. I think I'm right in saying the runway is inclined at about 12 degrees. The whole experience I found was like flying at a brick wall and missing. -

But what makes it "illegal"? That word implies that some law is being transgressed if you migrate a pilot. Surely not.

I thinbk he knows that, uncleal. He mentions changing his Workshop settings but to no avail.

I don't know the answer but am just asking what I think someone else will - did your pilots die before adding the mods? Hopefully someone with more experience will be along to help soon.

It must have been very frustrating to have all that trouble especially after we all told you how great win 7 is. Still..........got there in the end and back in the air once again .

Looks interesting but did you notice that someone reported it not working with CFS3? I wonder if that means OFF as well. Apart from that I might not feel comfortable flying without my hat on.

I pre-ordered Win 7 64bit on day 1 so have had it since it was released. Had no trouble with cfs3, OFF or TrackIr. I love win 7 and wouldn't go back now. I do run a dual-boot with XP but that's because I have some bespoke accounting and database software that won't run on 7. I never have used Win Movie Maker prefering instead the freeware on offer - VirtualDub for example is excellent. You'll love win 7, WM. Congrats.

I haven't got a clue, uncleal, and Windows 7 was my idea. I know what your saying though - win 7 doesn't seem to run much older stuff without admin mode, and Trakir 4 isn't that old really.

Has anyone ever seen the dog you can hear barking occasionally? I've even driven round the airfield in the model T and on the bicycle but cannot find it. Of course, it may be in one of the tents.. Does this elusive creature exist?
