Hey Malibu43, Good points but like everything here its use at your own risk. I always install manually and if I have questions about an install I would wait to install it until I was able to do more research on it. TGA fies and BMP files I dont really care if they are changed as long as it still loads in game properly. But a word to the wise is to backup your files often just in case you need to replace one here or there. OK but is it named Terrains or Terrain. And there is no folder named Mod then in your game. Its not like IL2 folder structure then. **Edited*** Then each game you have installed should have a folder named Terrains in it correct! And the Mods folder that your referring to is the other folder that's installed by the game in your User/Saved Games/Thirdwire Folder not the Program Files/Thirwire folder. I got that part. Thanks

I have been reading some of the readme files for the mods in the downloads sections and a few of them are getting me confused. Can someone post a screen of their proper folder structure in their game. I cant figure out if we are suppose to have a folder named Mods or Mod in our game, I not sure whether I need to have a folder named Terrains or Terrain in my main game folder. Can I get some of the pilots help who have experience with this.....

FrankD I did this because I for one enjoy spending my time installing all kinds of mods in my games just so I get the most out of them. That's all. Now I have been a member of many forums on Flights simming: Falcon 4, IL2, Janes. etc etc. I am just putting together a basic list of what most guys think are "Must Have Mods". Nothing more and Nothing less. For newer pilots I know that this will be very helpful.

Id take any A-7 Corsair. I have been to the Mirage Factory and didn't see anything. I was just hoping that the SF2 had one already made. Ill try to see what I can come up with, unless someone has one Id be grateful..

I tried doing a search and also looked at the SF1 series template section, but does anyone have an A-7 Corsair Template for skinning. Thanks in advance for any replies

Hey Guys, I know alot of you guys have more experience with this game then me so I thought I would take a leap of faith here and ask about addon mods. I have all of the SF2 series games and expansions. What I would like to know is, Can you guys give me a list of must have mods to add to the game. I would like to compile a list so that way in the future any new pilots can see my post and it will help take some of the guessing out of the work. You guys have the experience with these mods, can you please give me your input on what you think is a must have mod.... Anything from pilot addons to weapon packs to sun, moon, sky and any of the SF1 series to that work in SF2....ect etc. My system specs: Asus P5Q motherboard Duel Core Quad 2.8 Ghz process. 4 gigs of 1066 DDR ram GTX280 video Creative Sound blaster Xi Fi Extreme sound card

I bought the beta and cant get enough of it.. Looking forward to the Hotas as well, even though its a bit pricey!

Thanks Guys I knew that the planes can be converted over. I really like the Razbam A-7, Prowler, and Intruder. I'll buy the A-7 for sure when it comes out for SF. I check into the tiles here at ACE. Thanks again for the comments.
