About Andrew73

  1. Ah, I fixed it now thanks, copied another 50's fighter (F-104A) avionics file from Column5's excellent NATO fighters and renamed it, kept the F-100 cockpit though, so only have the radar screen top right, but F-100 cockpit seems to be the closest. Thanks for the help!! Kindest regards, Andrew
  2. Hi guys, First up I love using this great aircraft in WOE, particularly in the WOE "NATO FIGHTERS" mod, but just one problem, I don't seem to have any radar. I had a look in the ini, and it definitely lists an air interception radar, but it does not come up while flying. Any ideas, or is there something I have missed? Kindest regards, Andrew
  3. The Shrike (AGM-45) and Arm are both "point in the general direction and shoot. As long as there is a radar painting you (or others for that matter) it should home in by itself, as long as you are in range (closer the better). What I tend to do is look for the smoke trails for the launching of SAMs and then fire with the pipper (sight) centered on the general area of the launch. You do not need to have the radar targetted. Hope that helps. Cheers, Andrew
  4. Revised SF2 F-105_66 Loadout Option

Never mind, I managed to do it myself, thanks for this file!!!
  5. Revised SF2 F-105_66 Loadout Option

Hi Eric, any chance you can do this mod for the F-105's in your gold expansion pack for WOV? It would be nice to use this option for rolling thunder but with ECM & AIM-9b, which I have seen a few times in pics (For example in the book "F-4 & F-105 Mig Killers")
  6. Now it works! Eric, my sincerest thanks for your help, and my hat off to you and anyone else who worked on this mod! It is simply stunning!!!!!! My father was in Vietnam for a short time with the RNZAF, in support service (transport & supply) not combat, and also on exchange in Guam during the Linebacker I, and he introduced me to many of his friends in the RNZAF who flew in action while on exchange, and to his USAF and USN friends who flew up north. They all have my utmost respect. You have made an amazing tribute to them with this expansion pack! Kindest regards, Andrew
  7. Ok, I have copied all of the files to their correct locations, however, I cannot find a folder "Weapons" in the original install. Should this folder just go in the main WOV folder? If not could you please tell me the folder path it should have? Thanks! Andrew
  8. Thanks for the help Eric, I think I see the problem now. I downloaded the 3 main files: WOV Air & Ground War Expansion Pack Gold - Part 1 WOV Air & Ground War Expansion Pack Gold - Part 2 WOV Air & Ground War Expansion Pack Gold - Part 3 and WOV Air & Ground War Expansion Pack Gold - Upd Mission Types As I am using the original WOV, not SF-2 Vietnam. However, I just dropped the folder named "Aircraft" into the main install directory, not to Objects\Aircraft I did think it a little strange that there was not already folder Aircraft in there already Ooops..... I will give it another go. Thanks for the help!! It is greatly appreciated!
  9. I meant to say I have tried Rolling Thunder, Easter Offensive, and Steel Tiger, all with the same result. No A-1H, F-105G, or other "add-on" aircraft with the exception of the B-57 version of the Canberra.
  10. Hi Eric, I can only get the standard aircraft in single mission mode. In Steel Tiger I get the USAF Canberra, but not the A-1H. I also can't get the F-105G in Rolling Thunder. On fact, when I try and start the campaigns, the squadrons with "add on" aircraft (except for the Canberra equipped squadron in Steel Tiger) all come up with a blank in the aircraft box. Is it because I am using windows 7? When copying folders it "merges" folders rather than overwriting them, only overwriting files. Kindest regards, Andrew
  11. Absolutely wonderful mod, however I am having one problem! When I try and start a campaign with any of the squadrons that use the A-1H skyraider, I get a random aircraft instead. I am patched to October 2008, and all the other squadrons work fine, except for RAAF which crashed to desktop. Can anyone help? Kindest regards Andrew Webb
