Are you enjoying the new site update? Hell yes!! There are so many cool features that I'm coming across that I'm loving! And the download section... just beautiful. I mean highly rated and most downloaded files are a great way to help members, especially newcomers find out what and where some of the good mods are. The new features on the forum side of things are pretty neat as well. For instance I just selected your list of questions and the option to just quote one or two lines out the whole selection. That's pretty neat. Are you finding anything that isn't working? Nothing major yet! Honestly things that I am finding (which are minor) are simply added to the "He hasn't gotten to this yet but will when he gets a chance" pile. Okay that's a long name but seriously with so much going on I really think that most things that aren't working are simply because they're still being worked on. Are you finding the things you need, where it's located, and how to use it? Yes I am. Things are going smoothly so far. Anything you'd like to see changed? Right now I have no suggestions. Your input is very valuable to me. Well you're kicking ass and taking names and your efforts keeping this site going are very valuable to all of us! Thank you. You're welcome. And thank you for keeping CombatACE going!

CNN reported that people in a particular town who wished to stay behind should write their names and SSNs on their arms for easy identification later on. I'm in the next state over and waiting for all that rain to come our way. I think all my people are safe and I'm happy for the survivors and my heart goes to out to everyone.

Edit. I wrote a very passionate statement but will hold back my words... someone might get offended and I don't need to deal with that right now. But I'm glad this conversation is happening and I look forward to seeing more people weighing in on this matter. I will say this. It's not the symbol but the ideology which is the problem. People can call their groups whatever they like but since their ideals and methods are the same as the rest, then they're no different.

Those photos should be NSFW ... nice job on taking them I can't wait to see more. Man I remember being at a Thunderbird Show, during the part they were introducing the pilots, there was a guy from my state (number 5 I think). All of us went nuts, more so because he's from our state than anything else, and it's a rarity for things like that to happen. I think the crowd was just as loud as the F-16s! When hearing the almost defining roar of excited spectators, the announcer was really feeling the moment. You could hear it in his voice that he was really pumped as he introduced the last pilot. Golf course applause.

If you watched 5th Element You'll recognize this. You might also be impressed that it's real.

Well. That makes sense. So how high or low was it?

If that's rain, then that really thick mass seems like a bow echo. My guess is that it's a waterspout.

No guesses here. I thought I was looking at a weather radar for a second :/. But you do have me interested.

You're doing great! I'm liking some of the new features. This is looking nice so far and I'll patiently wait to see what the finished product will look like. I'll leave you to it. Thank you for doing what you're doing to keep this site going

I still like how they can sprinkle a few things into a bowl and two seconds later get a full course meal.

ROFL I know right! Then you have a little redhead knocking big ugly creatures out to the tune of this song.

All I see are pretty colors. Is there a free tutorial on how to make sense of all that?

A Very BIG Thank You

Actually there's a thread around here somewhere that it was mentioned how TK didn't mind us using the source code as long as we didn't put it in payware. I could be mistaken though. -
I was referring to politicians and individuals within organizations that hold impressive positions and yet do nothing but spread bullshit all day. An example my teacher gave me a long time ago was this. A town's council had a problem with people falling off a cliff. It was proposed to build a fence to prevent people from falling off the cliff. The politicians said it would be cheaper to have an ambulance carry the dead people away than to build the fence. So they opted to not take the preventative action to make the area safe because it was too costly. Just like it's too costly to have this wonderful technology get used to fight wildfires. I say get rid of people in positions of authority who don't have the common sense build a fence. Granted people should have common sense not to walk on the edge of a cliff anyway. But hopefully you'll see what I'm getting at. An unproductive factory worker get's fired. An unproductive bureaucrat get's a promotion.

So I read that in August all of America will get a chance to see a solar eclipse but a few lucky bastards will get a chance to be in the path of totality. https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/solar.html https://www.greatamericaneclipse.com/ It will be neat to this. Even though I'm the section that won't see the entire thing. Chances are it will be raining that day.

Air Refueling?
Skyviper replied to NIELS's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Could be like Oliver Twist and go up to Thirdwire and say "Please sir, can we have the source code?" -
We can't afford to use an efficient system that could be costly to use everyday. Let's not take preventive actions. How 'bout we get rid of all money grubbing leeches that don't anything and take those savings to pay for a system that can save thousands of homes? What are some other technologies that are being worked on that can quickly eliminate wildfires before they spread? That the Forestry department won't pitch a fit over using? I had a dumb idea about fighting wildfires once. But that plane sounds like a winner to me.

8 years? Wow. That's along those lines of that chick who got no jail time for falsely accusing someone and getting an innocent person imprisoned. She didn't have to serve time because she served it "mentally." I believe were the words. Funny how the definition of justice changes from person to person. As far as law of the land is concerned, justice has been done.

A couple of days ago some punk with horrible English calls me. Danny from ATT he says. I can get this awesome reward package etc etc. I hung up on his ass. ATT does not call from a local number. They call from a 1-800 number. Or some other crap. Just now Danny from "Senior Services" calls me. Same fucking guy. And I said "Really Danny? From Senior Services? Are you sure? I thought you were from ATT. Get your lies straight." He hung up on me.

For folks information. It would be the Federal Trade Commission that would need to be contacted.

How to behave in Britain ... so my British friends... how much of this is or was true?

Jeez. That's insane. I wonder far the smoke will carry on. I hope you folks out there stay safe. Edit: Removed question. It was stupid as it pertained to another country and not the USA. It was about helicopters taking pool water to fight forest fires. Could you explain to the uneducated please? I.e me? I am curious; what aircraft have proven to be very successful when fighting fires? And what kind of procedures are there for aircraft doing drops, do they coordinate with the ground? Improve the situation or make it worse?
