  1. Hey I have another before I buy it question...I was looking to buy whirlwind over vietnam but something struck me odd about the games price on Amazon(it seemed too low a price for a good game) so...it got me wondering if there is anything wrong with the game. Was the graphics bad, the controlls wack, horrible pit, too freakin difficult, way too easy, not enough levels or too much story and not enough game(which I'm not a big fan those movie games you know the ones where you play a total of two minutes of game and have a total of ten hours of movie)?

    Rack 'em up

Wow...I wonder how long it took for them to set this up
  3. Oh man those are great...reminds of the robot chicken episode...but I'll save that for another thread. Happy Holidays to you too...but I think the temptations can do a better job of that for me so here you go
  4. So I was watching this video when a Marine appears to make a mistake. I say appear because I'm not sure if it was really an accident or if it was part of thier routine. I'm not sure so I'm considering the source. If was fake then they did a good job. If was real then they did a good of job of pulling it off...and the question is what will happen to the guy that messed up? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9q7b_2tkMo
  5. Hey no problem. When I saw this I was speachless. I would never thought Everest to be desert and let alone so friggin brutal. I always thought if you had some oxygen you'd be fine but after reading this...ha I thought soooo wrong.

  7. B-36 yup that's the one. So is the B-36 bigger than the C-5?
  8. LOL I'm kinda wondering what happened to the pilot. I mean you can't blame the pilot because that thing was probably the target everyone was wanting to hit. And for the XC-99 that plane reminded me of the bomber that props behind its wings like that...well the props, the jets, and the JATO...I would like to see that plane next to the C-5
  9. Wow. The rumbling ground beneath your feet...the entense roar of those engines...I can only imagine. Truely amazing...so improper question here...what about the brown pants factor? I saw this thing at an airshow and it made the B-52 look tiny. Then I stood under the nose that was raised up and looked at the cocpit that looked so tiny and thought "they don't fly the plane...it flies them"(I know I'm probably wrong about that)
  10. Made the F-15s look like hotwheels...wow.
  11. Thanks for the help everyone. I searched a few links before asking this question and those links, for some reason, looked fishy to me but I'll try out the suggestions mentioned here. Once thank you so much for you help
  12. Someone sent me this little article about those left behind on Everest and for some reason I thoguht a number of you would find this to be an interesting read
  13. There is a book called the Giver. Its a really powerful story and touches on this very subject and why its important not to erase memories both good and bad.
  14. I'm looking to convert a couple of FLV files into MP3 format know a good way I could do that? Thanks
  15. May I use a few of these for my desktop wallpaper? These are some great photos:good:
  16. Good point. Yeah in about fifteen years people will be able to buy those friggin things off Amazon.
  17. Exactly. I could on all day why we should keep our memories both good and bad. However I will say this though( I've talked about this work with some friends) if you never had a bad memory or a bad day then how can you enjoy the good memories and the good days? Society as whole would be emtionless...the movie Equilibrium comes to mind where the people have no emotion.
  18. Scientist have developed a pill to remove a bad memory. They developed a pill that eliminates the proteins that cause bad memories. They hope to help those that are constantly tormented by horrible events i.e a solider suffering from Post Tramatic Stress after seeing the horrors of war could take this pill and forget what he saw. Here's the info. Crazy isn't it?
  19. No seriously has anyone had this yet? Is supposed to be a cherry pie apple pie and pumpkin pie cake....I guess that can go along with the turdukin? So to recap we have the turdukin and the churpumple....all we need now is a funky drink....
  20. Thank you...that AN-225...I think I saw that on Marden Marvels...that's a lot of plane.
  21. WHOA!!!!! sorry about the mix up there...I was reffering to by boss as the Marine driving the forklift....you should really see this guy...god bless 'em and the rest of veterans... One day big boss man of site pissed him off...the music was playing....and MY boss(the Marine) was obviously contimplating running over HIS boss who happened to be in the Air Force. I don't need to tell you how bad it gets sometimes when a former Air Force guy pisses off a Marine driving a forklift that's six thousand pounds and listening to kill music. And now about that link BEHOLD 100.3 The Edge Website scroll down a bit and keep your eyes to right and you may find something you like. But once again sorry the mix up
  22. Check out this story of a paper airplane taking photos of space. I'd like to see one made of duck tape next.
  23. The only one...sorry about that. I listen our local station at work because it gets everyone going....thought it might make us a bit violent. Let me tell ya a Marine listening to heavy metal and forklift is a deadly combination....sometimes its a funny one too.
  24. Can someone explain to skyviper why a game that game soo freakin long ago goes for like a hundred bucks? And I'm not talking about the most popular stuff either(and those are priced okay) Are they doing because they can or are they doing it because its worth that much...period
  25. I have only seen one tank sim that worth it to me and that T-57 Iron warrior....then again that's the only tank sim I've seen and played
