  6. Any news on this Russ?
  7. As an indie developer, TK has always noted money as either Thirdwire's limitation or motivation (who here can't relate to that?)... If he can make more money from android market, then he'll probably (justifiably) go there... That might leave us old fashioned PC simmers out in the virtual cold... Well, this is a modern 2012 world, we can always build it ourselves...
  8. Man... anybody know a decent WWII flightsim for a good ol' PC? Jets on a phone... not for me...
  9. I downloaded and installed Starry's GermanyCE four season terrain last night. Great work, wonderful scenics and style. As I clicked through a few missions, I wanted to see the hard winter. Finally, a mission date of 1/1 popped up. Perfect, I will get to see some snow... I loaded the mission and bam! it was pitch black night, except for the stars... I hit Alt-c clock advance and time progressed right trough noon and evening and it never did get light, just the low rotation of the stars... HUH... What the heck? Well, I know... Oh funny guy, you Mr Starry! I went into the GermanyCE ini file and changed the latitude from what was there (80'11") to 50'11"... oh too funny!!

  12. The BUELL

Got a new Corbin seat and a SuperSprox sprocket set with an RK chain... Need to get a few more bits someday... CF front fender (current one is cracked), Spiegler wave rotors for the front to match the rear... and a new left side engine cover (previous owner fell down...)
  13. No Jonathan, you've found something that was never there... Again, lost in translation... "debrief"...
  14. Sorry Jonathan, the humorous innuendo has been "lost in translation", somewhere between American English and Swedish...

  16. Wireless Transmitter ?

Hello, need some advice on a wireless transmitter. I have a conventional ethernet/DSL network at home. I need to add a wireless transmitter so my wife can best use her Nook... Any suggestions as to appropriate hardware? Is there a transmitter on a PCI card that I could use? D-Link DSL modem/router with four RJ45 jacks. My computer Wife's computer Network printer (coming soon) Network storage drive (coming soon) Thanks in advance... ML
  17. That equipment is only for post-mission debriefing...
  18. Wireless Transmitter ?

Thanks for the clue about the AP (access point). I found a neat little ASUS wi-fi PCE-N15 card at Newegg... This card is just a wi-fi transmitter/receiver for a PCIEx1 slot. Got it installed tonight, configured the software AP and my wife is online with her Nook...

  24. Finally Ordered A New PC

Congratulations on the new machine. Great specs, but would have gotten the NVidia card myself, just my preference. I have used Amazon for books, new FZ150 camera and now shoes... Newegg is my electronics go-to, but Amazon has always been quick and reliable too! Good deal Streakeagle! My next personal build will be quite similar...
  25. 4th of July

A nation's independence and freedom is possible only as long as men are willing to put on the uniform and be willing to engage in kill or be killed. When this willingness ends, so does liberty. Happy Birthday America! and many more. I pray for wisdom for those who direct the awesome military might our Nation possesses...
