I had that very feeling myself. So all those ships in ground object folder from SF1 series won't ever appear on the theater ? Is that what you say ? -
I added some military (ground object) ships (missile frigate, destroyers etc) to the game but they don't appear at all. Besides cargo ships I don't see anything on the sea. I use WOI. Do they appear just in a campaign ? How does their "engine" work ?

I think this parameter : [ALLOWED MISSION TYPES] from your ini map file is for SF2 series, not for SF1's. Can anyone confirm that are available in SF1 too ? My question was HOW can I make them appear (all those ships) in single player missions for SF1 series. -

No, they are not generic, they are custom made warships (modded destroyers, frigates, etc, downloaded from this object download site) and they belongs to many nations, I saw Soviet, Australia etc, Their service years match the period I play in single player missions (1950-2050) and I put VERY_COMMON to the availability parameter. -
I saw a skin for P-3 ORION/ SF1 but I can't find the plane. Does anyone still have it please ? Thank you in advance.

Alexis, if you want to HAVE this terrain and you want to play it in a SF1 environment, I might be the person who can give you exactly that on a silver plate. I have it and I play on it for months. Of course that wouldn't have been possible without the precious help of the terrain guru/master, Mr. Kevin Stein, aka Wrench. Thank you once again Kevin for the continous help and guiding you provided when I needed it. -

Oh , I see. I have acces to that site. Thanks a lot, I didn't know that model was there. I made an account long time ago because I wanted badly a certain model of helo and, God, it was an excruciating and painfully experience to get it, hours of frustration and days of waiting for an answer etc. -

I downloaded the AIM-26 falcon nuclear missile but I can't use it cause the effect (AerialNukeEffect.ini file) is missing from the package. I did a search on the forum but all threads to Lexx Luthor work are dead. Can anyone let me have the effect file for the weapon please ? Thank you. -

Happy new year to everyone! Well I reached the Rafale's file and gave it a try. It is all wonderful except, AI wingmen won't use the AHM missiles. (I tried first MICA_EM and then the AMRAAM-C5). To check that AMRAAMs are ok I tried them with F-18 wingmen and they used it, firing it from far away, as it should be. I looked into MICA_EM file in weaponseditor but i didn't see anything suspicious. I looked into Rafale M's dataini file at its wings payload and everything looks fine. What am I doing wrong ? PS - I must add that as IR missiles I use the British ASRAAM (ASRAAM AIM-132R) which are set to be fired from aprox 45km. Could that be the culprit ? meaning that AI wingmen is tricked and "think" that these are the long range missiles ? I was wondering that because the wingmen use the ASRAAM. Thank you in advance! -

I figured it out what those extra lines were. They are for compatibility reason, some sort, they resemble with the ones from avionics.ini files for avionics60.dll ones. I isolated them but still doesn't work. -

UPDATE I deleted Rafale's original avionics,.ini and cockpit.ini files and the cockpit itself and replaced them with F-18's ones and ...it worked. So the culprit is Rafale's avionics file for sure, something there, some lines are missing or they are miswritten, but I can't figure which ones. I look at them , I compare them with F-18's and I don't see the differences. -

When I opened the first time its avionics file, in the [radardata] section, in available radar mods there was a "Acquisition" line in amidst other present, but I know that this kind of syntax is for avionics60.dll planes (old). I checked the ini file and the Rafale uses the avionics70.dll, at least that is what is there written. When I removed the "acquisition" word i thought that this would do the trick but , no, it didn't. Thank you for offering help! I would appreciate any hint or guide thread. As i noticed, rafale uses the Eurofighter "infrastructure" (the ini file let that to be seen), so I guess the same issue would be present in Eurofighter, too. Though I didin't tested , yet , the Eurofighter, so I don't know it for sure or...who knows, maybe it's the other way around.( the author discovered the mistake and solved it in Eurofighter) -

I tried the plane with AHM only payload and they act as if they won't have them.(When targeting an enemy plane, I tell them to engage, they confirm it on radio but they don't throw their fuel tanks, they just make some break manouvres and then they return back into formation) Did anyone tried the Rafale M into SF1 please ? Maybe sharing its behaviour would help me to discover the error. Thank you. -

In Soviet bomber sq formation they fly, in 3, like this: 3 1 2 I want No2 and No3 to fly at the same level as me, like this: 2 - 1 - 3 I tried to change data in formation.ini file but the game crashes. What data must I change to obtain the desire formation please ? Thank you. -

Can anyone , please, tell me or point me to the right info webpage, to find out what model could and did carry ECM equipment and countermeasures (Chaff&Flares) for MIG-23/MIG-27 ? I read some infos here in plane files but they don't have the official info label pinned on them so I can't rely on them for now. Thank you. -

I didn't touch any of airfield settings, I was just testing some loadouts for some soviet aircraft and when my plane randomly took off from that airfield, it just blew up, without my "help". Then I looked into targets.ini to see what do those airfields have in common. The common thing was they were all DESERT_AIRFIELD5n.ini type. Because I don't have the experience to see into this file what is wrong with them, I just replaced them, they were just four. One more thing, you say they are for neutral cause. I looked into targets.ini and they, all four, are labelled ENEMY (Could that be the cause why they suddenly explode ?). I am confused now to be sincere. Furthermore. After replacing the airfields (which is just one type only) I noticed that aircraft, taking off from THAT airstrip, their taxi start point was far more out than usual and I thought maybe that is why, on the other type, they were exploding. I'm just saying... If you can, just please tell me if you on those "N" airfield type your aircraft explodes. If it doesn't eplodes then it's odd, because, as i said above, I didn't TOUCH any settings. (I just replaced airfield type for four of them) -

UPDATE All DESERT_AIRFIELD5n.ini , which are just four (Antung AB 1/Antung AB 2/Dagushan/Qinqishan) cause aircraft to explode on the runway in 2 seconds. I replaced them with DESERT_AIRFIELD4.ini. If you there's a fix for the old one I will replace them back. -

I noticed something odd. On ANTUNG AB, aircraft explodes directly in 2 sec, including the wingmen. I'm pretty sure it's not the plane (it was a MIG-23UM) because I randomly took another 5 airbases and it didn't explode. So something is wrong with that airstrip. Any idea why please ? Could you test that airstrip for yourself and confirm if the aircraft explodes ? -
I own their first game, LOCK-ON, which I found it very hard to manage. I kept an eye on their work , but I can't understand why are these insane prices. 60 euros for just one plane ??? With 60 euros you can buy a AAA game. True , they look like real thing, cockpits are truly fantastic, but I will never give 60 euros for just one plane. It's a shame, I would have given it a try to this sim, maybe in another life.

yes they WORK!!!. First I thought the effect is inexistent looking from above, but I use CTRL+F12 to take a very close look, both to the rivers and sea. And there are present both, the "flow" emulation movement and that emulation which mimics wave movement. If you want I can make a movie on youtube to see it for yourself. Just say the word.
