  1. I thought that too. It doesn't work. I looked into the original file for the first campaign and there is no what you are suggesting Sir. There are these figures: 90/90/90/0/20/20/20 etc. So, in a nutshell, that is not the explanation for what I am experiencing I guess. I even looked into WOV first campaign figures. They are the same, OVER 100% figure so I doubt that this is the explanation.(90/0/0/70/25/50/50/25/0/0)
  2. I tried then to put: MissionChance[RECON]=0 but still, after trying to start a new campaign first mission is a recon one.
  3. I wanted to try a single seat Mirage 2000 model. The model was made after the 2008 October patch so it was supposed to work fine. The only issue I have is this: when trying to take of with autopilot ON, the plane first turns right 10-15 degrees and then go about its job taking off (entering countryside terrain of course at some point). How can I address this issue please ? I really like the model. I tried another single seat Mirage 2000 and it has the same issue. Thank you in advance.

I'm having a hard time trying to add texture for engine (just for esthetic reasons of course) shafts (I don't find other word now for them) for the MIG-25 foxbat model ( the old one, in fact I guess it's the only one out here on this site but I could be wrong). All other aircraft models looked fine after adding the shaft textures. For this one, both engine shafts (as you know MIG-25 has two engines, so there are two shafts) remain black, even if on the fuselage bitmap (it's named "Fuselage.bmp") there is clearly a draw of the engine shaft. Anyone know why I cannot see the engine texture in game ? Thank you in advance.

  9. I tried the Dave's Harrier GR3 model, but after shutting down the autopilot is started to lean on a side. I searched the site for similar issues and I found no solvings. Can anyone, please, tell me , what should I try to balance it, to make the plane work correctly ? thank you
  10. So the typos were. I encountered myself couple of time such problems, but I was lucky that I saw them in plain view. I remember it was missing a "[" and the plane couldn't load a wing etc. Thanks for everything.

  12. I play into vanilla WOI map. I have an add-on plane, MIRAGE 2000 (enlisted as France nation) type and I can make antiship sorties with it. I downloaded the Harrier FRS1 which is enlisted to RoyalNavy, but I can't find any ships when approaching the area where targets were supposed to be. I looked into Limited nation list (in IsraelME_nation ini file) and there is just israel as friendly nation. My questions are these: - why can I make antiship missions (ship targets appear when approaching the area as it should) with a French aircraft and I cannot with a English one (they are marked as friendly both in nation.ini file, in flight folder) ?? - What should I do/modify in order to make antiship missons with the english (royalnavy) aircraft as well? Thank you in advance. PS - in case you are already wondering, I have activated the antiship mission type for the English plane and the antiship missiles appear loaded in lodout menu.
  13. I solved the issue, sort of speak. It seems that game's engine has a "build-in" timer so the target is expected to show up at a specific time taking into account the longest route (autopilot waypoints and a lower speed). Long story short, if you just rush up to the waypoint 5 with max speed you won't see them , because you are too early to see them in that spot, where they were suppose to be. lol Well in a way it makes sense, in real life a ship is on the move in open sea.
  14. The loads are equal of course so the issue is certainly not here. However, I tried it with no load at all with the same results. My guess is that either something wrong with the model or...october 2008 patch changes somehow tampered with the flight model or some key variables and it made it unflyable. I use the mode in WOI by the way. I encountered 6 years ago the same issue with some russian plane but I forgot how I solved it or IF I solved it at all lol

  18. I ran into a problem with loadout for planes. The loadout.ini file works, the preloads appear correctly for each type a mission, BUT...and that I discovered it completely by accident, for instance, for anti-ship preload, I get...the preload for armed-recon ! And I don't know why or what I am doing wrong here. I checked then for all other planes I've got and for some this thing works correctly, but for others it's the same problem. What am I doing wrong and what should I check and I missed ?
  19. The mission type (antiship) was there added to the plane data.ini, of course, I learned that long ago. You are right, that was the kind of thing I was searching for, the IsraelME (I checked few minutes ago, when you told me about it) hasn't Iran in the list. So that was the limitation...Anyway it's strange, cause everything else , except Antiship works well, as loadout, but as you mentioned , maybe they won't work correctly. Thank for clearing this up for me. It really was bugging me not finding out. PS - I know who you are. Ten years ago I took notes from your wisdom & work and learned many things along the way and I also thank you for that. You have my deeply respect Sir.

I've download some F-5 Tiger old models and I noticed that my aircraft, if I let it to take off, with autopilot ON, somehow takes off late (it's almost to the end of the runaway sort of speak) and loses its landing gear in the process. On the other hand, I noticed that my AI F-5s wingmen have no problem to take off without damaging the landing gear. Unless I pilot it myself as it takes off, I lose the landing gear. Is there a way to "tell" the autopilot (some file to modify, a parameter, something) which pilots, for the take off sequence, in my place, to get the plane in the air a little earlier, BEFORE it's critical (loses its landing gear) ? I guess it has to be some file which one can modify the take off distance on the runaway. I hope I made myself understood. Thank you in advance.
  23. I solved it. For CF-5 I matched the coefficient values, plus I had to match the engine power (F-5E has the strongest power for engines) and it was enough. For F-5A all these weren't enough so I had to reduce the payload (a small fuel tank here, a bigger one there etc) and it finally took off without crashing. Thank you once again for guiding me into the matter. I couldn't have done without your help. Thank you.
  24. I have three F-5 planes models, a F-5E Tiger II, a CF-5A and a F-5A one, all of them downloaded from here. The first works without crashing the gear (when taking off on autopilot), I just checked that few minutes ago, the latter two don't. I will try to match the F-5E data stab/wings coefficients, as you instructed me, with the ones of the other two planes and see what happens (maybe that way I might learn some things along the way) and I'll come back with the result. Thank you for inspiring me.
