  1. I knew you're gonna see my way kid ;)
  2. Well they look, to me, as a grand-grandson and grand-grandpa but only if grandpa was a Klingon and grandma a Romulan, with a little bit a native indian blood.
  3. take a look here, it might help in your situation: I suggest you read carefully what MigBuster advises. Also it might be a good idea, if you screwedup the installation and now you don't know what is what, to uninstall completely everything, and I mean... EVERYTHING with Thirdwire label on it, and reinstall after the model indicated in the KB thread by MigBuster. I hope you know to work with Windows registry, if you don't PM me and I'll help. Pay attention, too of what WRENCH suggested in his last post.
  4. When you are not sure/don't know what you're doing, keep very close an eye of what you are actually doing.
  5. Better luck next time. Didn't you learn anything about how facebook makes politics on their website ? They make out of the blue 10.000 more trigger-happy accounts and put them to vote against everything that moves on the website. Easy as pie ! LOL

This is a Fall version for J-37 Viggen plane. Installation: Unzip all into your J-37 viggen folder. This skin can not be used for commercial purpose. However, you may use the skin in your future projects but don't forget to mention me in the credits list.
  7. As far as I know, it wasn't. I never saw it here.
  8. Weapon parameters are the key here. Use weapon editor and adjust them accordingly if you are sure that you know what you're doing. Don't toy with them if you don't know what you're doing. Usually weapon packages, made here by CombatAce veterans (Ravenclaw is one nick that comes to my mind now) around are adjusted and realistic. Use them and try resist temptation to do things...better.
  9. Does that happen ...on the laptop you just have plugged a...USB mouse ? If so, try a cable one and you'll see that the lag will disappear in...smoke If you are wondering what has a USB mouse got to do with that, when you are touching just the keyboard, think again, I has to do with that. USB cheap mice have very big lag , especially if you are using in swift succesion keys on its keyboard. A professional USB game mouse doesn't have these problems, who would pay 100+ buck for such device ? Part of the problem are IRQs and the device controller. An interrupt request (IRQ) is a signal sent to a computer's processor to momentarily stop (interrupt) its operations. The signal is usually sent by a hardware device to interrupt the processor so the device gets some time to run its own operation. The device controllers for each device (the USB mouse here) you have plugged into your motherboard and the IRQs work together. So...
  10. If I were you and have the means, I would try to see if it works flawless in Win 7. My opinion is that It should work. And if it's that , well...you will know at least how your're standing. In matters of games you don't get anything (except Direct X 12) extra from Win 10. If you are a practical guy and you straigthen up your priorities, you'll notice that what is the simple path you will have to walk on. Good luck!
  11. Last time I've tested my joystick was when I was playing the game under Win 7. I never tried with win 10 or 11. Win 10 is not that forgiving as Win 7 was with some old software/programs. They kinnda eliminated almost all sorts of compatibilites without asking anyone if they would like that. If it wasn't for Direct X12, I would have been still running Win 7 even today on my pc.
  12. That's an issue which will remain to be seen...AFTER the releasing of the SU-34 and AIDC F-CK-1 Ching -Kuo. ;) Until then my plate is ...full. We'll talk about how difficult is then, also.
  13. Well I was absent for a long period dealing with my own "in real life" problems but, at least for a while, I'll be hanging around here with you. What bird do you think should be next, if you caught my drift ? ;) Let me know what you're thinking ladies and gents, will you ?
  14. Well, I have good news and bad news :) The good news is that we managed to bring (don't ask how, for the moment LOL) both models , SU-34 and AIDC F-CK-1 Ching - Kuo. They are already saved in 3DMax format (and BOTH models are LEGIT, if anyone is wondering), they just need to be "worked"/transformed for SF2 environment only. The bad news is that the man responsable for the modelling bailed out on us kindda thing. I won't say more. Even so an esteemed collegue of CombaAce community agreed to help, in principle, but it would take some time extra. (I am just preparing you for the worst LOL). Meanwhile, for a week or two I will skimm the horizon (internet) and my relations to find a 3D modeller to work his magic on the models for preparing them for SF2. So I need you to be patient on this one. The main thing and the hardest part was solved, we have both models in 3D Max format, as I already stated above. If, by chance, you can recommend anyone with 3D Max skills please come forward with that. It will help a lot, I am open to suggestions. Here's a preview fo AIDC F-CK-1 Ching - Kuo 3D model: 3D Model Preview AIDC F-CK-1經國號戰鬥機(Blender),Taiwan (Update).mp4 As always, let me know what you think. Your input is important.
  15. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner: the Taiwanese AIDC F-CK-1 Ching - Kuo jetfighter. (22 votes). After the completion of the bonus plane (SU-34) which is for the time being into the pipes, the Taiwanese project will commence. I will keep you posted as usual. Any post poll commentaries are appreciated. :)
  16. When you have a problem do things in this order: - check first the KNOWLEDGE database - use the SEARCH function for your issue. Maybe you will discover that many others before you had this very issue you have and maybe they found a workaround or a solution to it. - if you can't find any match to your problem with search function, THEN come to general thread and try to be very specific about your issue you encountered.(pictures, movies, files etc)
  17. Common errors: - syntax is not correct - Pay attention to the YEAR when those 3D objects can appear. - The country they belong it's wrong - the country name they belong changed after a specific year (Soviet Union -> Ukraine after 1990) - the country you use the weapon for is not listed in NATION.INI file - Check if the object has export parameter TRUE Keep in mind that Mission Editor works with ...data you feed it. If you give it wrong data, the outcome can be spooky.
  18. I already debunked your hypothesis but I like to remind it to you again :). (Please revisit the post on page 1 for more details). Even if the applet would have been allowed 33 entries, the Mirage 2000N/D (one entry only) would have gathered still... 12 votes. (The ones who voted for one Mirage, voted, in the same time, for the other with only one exception). The rest of the ones who voted, as you could notice, they chose NOT to vote for it, whether it was one plane package or a two planes package. If they would have been separated, one couldn't vote for both, so the maximum would have been still...12 votes. So , yes, you are wrong and as you can notice I am telling you that exactly as you anticipated it. :) PS - I know that you got it, from my first post, and now you are just simulating that you didn't (or whatever). Either way , I enjoyed explaining to you the matter again. :)
  19. Two more day until the poll is closing, the situation remained unchanged on the board, fortunately for ones and...unfortunately for the others LOL I think Strahi is very happy with the present situation.
  20. After 10 days, 73 votes and 1376 views the board looks like this: 1. AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo 22 votes 2. Chengdu J-20 16 votes 3. Grumman S-2 Tracker 13 votes 4-5-6. Mirage 2000N/Alpha Jet-E/F-16 XL 12 votes 7. Mirage 2000D 11 votes 8-9. KAI T-50 Golden Eagle/F-35 10 votes 10-11. TRAINING Eurofighter/F-94 Starfire 9 votes 12. Lockheed U-2S 8 votes 13-14-15. Mirage G8/F9F Panther/X-15 7 votes
  21. I first told myself , when the pandemic was in full blown, that I will purchase a VR device, but then they were out of stock. I was seeing those exclusive games for VR ads , that I found them interesting to take a look at. Maybe I will buy an Oucculus Rift device after all someday. Thanks for the input anyway, it gives some clues of what one can expect from the VR realm.
