Vasco, I tried the above and only get "error" Beard -
My vote is no.... the reason being I like to see the mixture control when I adjust it and it is covered by those big old gloves when the pilot is rendered. Beard

Configuration override file missing
Burning Beard replied to bdoubled's topic in WOFF 1 2 3 / UE - General Help
If you still have CFS 3 or MAW installed you can look for a copy of the configoverrides.xml in there (application data, etc). Copy and paste it into your OFF folder ( in the application data). I did this a while back and it worked. If not, someone can email a copy of it to you and you can use that to get back up and operating. Beard -
Pics to demonstrate Creaghorn's Tracers
Burning Beard replied to Olham's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
This is a great little mod, I really like it. It has a couple of unadvertised advantages, in that you can see the trajectory of the bullet easily and you can also see bullets flying past you from behind. Beard -
Check down in Multi Player and you'll find Winston. Beard

Yep thats where the file is, I just checked and nothing changed from XP to windows 7 64. Beard -
I've never tried to fire the Lewis when it is in the reload position, wonder if you can? Beard
-
If'n I remember correctly from my initial install of OFF1 the way the guns worked on the SE5 (before I reset it to fire all) was the trigger fired the Vickers and another button on the joystick fired the Lewis. I have been tempted at times to go back to this, to use the guns independently and conserve ammunition. Beard

No CD needed, not what you think....
Burning Beard posted a topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Last weekend I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 64, and for some reason (which I cannot explain) I no longer need my CFS3 CD in a drive to run BH&H, MAW, or CFS3. Go figure.... Beard -

I don't think I ever heard the score on any of the PT tests I took. In my unit they were just happy if you passed, lol. Beard

The easiest way is to use the Jones Soft mod enabler that Creghorn references in his instructions. All you need to do is install the program in the OFF folder and make a Mods File folder. Then you put the files in that folder. To use the mod enabler you open it before you open OFF and just click the mod over to the active box. If'n you don't like it you can click it back to inactive. It automatically makes backups of the files it replaces. Beard

Improved Effects trailersmoke
Burning Beard replied to Creaghorn's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Well, I finally got it sorted out. What happened I was installing it over one of the other effects patch (maybe no tracer or something) but not the stock one. I copied the stock effects file from MAW and installed it and checked it and was back to stock tracers. Then I saved it and installed the new file as per instructions, now it works as advertised. Thank you very much. Beard -

Burning Beard replied to Herr Prop-Wasche's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
I flew it last night using an N28 and the DM seemed to help in that I didn't manage to rip the wings off in High G maneuvers, but they will rip off when the Archie gets ya. So maybe there is an unforeseen advantage. Beard -

It's a D.F.W. Pfeil but all I could find is the picture, though I think it is a 1912 Model, and I have no idea what the connection to the RNAS is. Beard
