Cant resist this one last comment. The term ' wing commander' no doubt is a ' subtle' reference to 'the wife' who controls the purse strings. I have yet to meet the man who doesnt bend over when the wife comes in the room but talks BIG as he looks over his shoulder- great stuff!

Free track, is gone, facetrack doesnt alwys work- after speaking with the developer in holland he couldnt get it to work with face API or any of the webcam baed headtracking programs- it works for some and not others. Didnt work for me-thats OK I asked Gous about the freetrack files and he told me the only ones that work are the old files.. I installed a new copy of CFS3 and a new copy of OFF - followed all directions. My question is this, is OFF supposed to look like CFS3 ( old) maybe I didnt install it properly? I get all the right menus but it looks like an OLD game I got the impression from the adverts it was sleek, this is not- it looks old. Thats fine - if thats how its supposed to look, I expected a more modern look- it looks chunky. As far as complaining about the fanbois and the self styled 'legends' I could never stand a big shot- wether hes' in a PC or in front of me at the Home Depot.

S! thank you, Its comforting to see nothing changes. ROF has its 'GURUS' and OFF has its 'ELITE', and you both have ' noobs' nice! The forum fanbois and Jason's delusions of grandure were some of the reasons ROF went in the trash. I have a low tolerance for BS in it's myriad forms. Everyone forgets they were new at one time and someone helped them out. But hey! it seems to be the same on any type of forum. Getting back on track- Trackir is too costly for many gamers, even trackir4 is 105$ at the NP site. And forget Ebay for this one, you wont get a deal very often on this item. I have loaded up the new freeware face track app from their site and bought the MS v3000 webcam- so far it does what it says, enough so that I sent them a Paypal. And thats the bottom line for me, i'm only here to fly

S! Feridun; I too play only one at a time and it's good to know I made the right choice ( for me anyway). There are many types of sims and games but I really got stung by the canvas and varnish crates. I can stress a PROC fast and the time in the air just is gone--- I have to buy adult depends ( they must sell those in Europe) they call them' Le Grand' --something or other? For dedicated gamers the ' hidden charges' in some sims can be BIG euros. Anyway thanx to all for a warm welcome. Once I learn the ropes perhaps I can host some daring souls? I appreciate that info and will look there and hunt and peck. After other WWI combat sims - this looks REAL- another thing, I know Trackir is the norm but have users here had any success with FacetrackNOIR? I just found it and have been d---ng around with it, says OFF is supported. Any Gurus ready to comment? thanx everyone!

Off topic, but a quick question. I just got the BHaH disk in the mail and thats all it was, a disk. This sim ships with no gude or paper manual? all that is online? Thas a first for me and ive been gameing for 20 years. Is it because it,s a mod ? The MS CFS3 is on its way so when I install them it looks like I have hunt for the details? crash101

S! Not the right place to ask but being new here please excuse me!. I just receved my copy of BHaH in the mail and unlike other games/sims it came with no manual or guide just a disk. Is this the way they ship? my MS CFS3 is on its way but the lack of documentation is troulbling- if this is normal can someone let me know? Thanx

S! Thanxs to all for your input and direction. I too prefer a strong SP with smart AI and prefer realistic over 'slick' anytime. ROF, considering the number of game owners had a painfully limited number of pilots in MP - on the servers - at any one time. The server owners had made some decent missions but time after time I would log in and be the only plane in the sky beside the AI and some servers didnt even have those. So as I wait for the disks to arrive I have been looking at the posts and getting set up for the install. I am looking forward to this sim- I like the canvas and varnish crates. And I realize that the answers to all questions are out there allready, its just a matter of digging. I am gratefull for all the assistance. See you over the trenches Crash101

Greettings, V4Friend; I have only recently become aware of your work. I used to use Trackir in my combat flight sims but it passed away. I have gone to your site and downloaded all the applicable, recent upgrades etc. I am going to set this up on OFF but it appears that some files have to be swapped around to get optimum performance on Freetrack. I have a new MS 3000 webcam and will start this from scratch- any direction from any users would be appreciated thanx, crash101

Thanx!, I just bought the MS CFS3 and will be ordering BHAH today- I love WWI combat sims, I just canceled out of that other sim for a variety of reasons and like the way OFF looks. How is the MP play? I dont have to buy any aircraft do I ? Thanx
