Does it do the same for all aircraft? Try different aircraft and see if result is the same.

Go to controls folder. Open it to default.ini right click on default.ini and scroll down to properties. click properties and see if read only is checked. If it is,uncheck it and then click apply. Then try to redo the controls.

Thanks again for your quick reply Col. I've tried making aircraft for EAW and Third Wire sims,so I know how difficult it is. I could not get the hang of the drawing software. I tried for several weeks. I will patiently wait for the mod gurus to complete their work. The old proverbial '2 weeks',right. I did get DAW to operate on 1.28b. You just have to watch what files you put in the folder. PS I think the birds flying around are a HOOT!

You need a waiver from the Friendly Aviation Administration (FAA)to do that kind of flying. Yes,even in an airshow. If they didn't have one they should have been busted. Airshow flying is dangerous enough without a couple of non-briefed Meatheads hotrodding around. Yes,it's very cool,but also very illegal.

Look in cockpit/HUD file and see what size the TGA's or BMP's are. My machine will only read a tga or bmp if it a base 16 size (32x32,64x64,128x128,256x256 all the way to 2048 or higher or 128x?,256x?,1024x?,etc) If it is 100x?, 200x?, 400x? I get the white rectangles just like your showing. Same thing for decals and numbers. You will need a program to change the size of these tga's/bmp's. I use Paintshop Pro.

Seems like everything is looking and working great. Nice work on the new format. I specially like seeing the new EAW section. This is where most of got our start and it would be a shame to see it go away.

Steel ,lead and probably depleted uranium. If it gets down to where it's supposed to go,you probably don't need that much high explosive to get the job done.

Yes,it could be that simple. Change the nation that you want from FRIENDLY to ENEMY. The game engine will read YOUR nations.ini file and not the one in the xxx.cat. It's like sitting at your desk. The game reads everything ON the desk before it looks in the drawers(xxx.cat files). If it finds a file ON the desk it doesn't look for it in the drawer.

Veltro and Wrench: I've flown your P-61 4 missions now and it is a BEAUTY!! I made a couple of little tweaks,but it flys famously. It was worth waiting for. The firepower is Amazing! It is kind of a ground lover(long take-off roll),but other than that it is outstanding. I am adding it to my campaign in the 421st FS. That outfit was Day and Night on Okinawa.

Good lake trout and northern pike fishing. I learned to hunt from my Dad. Bird(Pheasant and Quail) hunting mostly. It teaches great responsibility and respect for firearms and other people's property. Anyone who thinks it's easy,just go out and try it. You will spend many backbreaking hours out walking the woods just to come up empty-handed. Thanks for bringing back some GREAT memories.
