I was just in the gun shop at lunch today and this is the first time all year the place hasn't been packed with customers. Seems like the boom may be slowing. Black powder guns seem like a niche that would suffer in an economy like this.

LOL, I know some of you love hearing me say that! Anyway, had a moment of brilliant ignorance today. I'm trying to get the the PaveTack to work in the F-111F in NF4+, and I'm getting nowhere. Quadruple-checked all the INI files, tried all kinds of ways to set up the pod with the weapon editor, but no luck. Spent well over an hour working on it, but could never get the TV display to come on when I select the bomb. Moment of realization: For some reason, after my last test while sitting on the runway, I decided to take off. Because I had the GBU-12 selected, as soon as I took off and retracted the gear, the TV screen came on! Apparantly at some point TK made it so that the TV screen won;t come on until you are airborne. I wanted to kick myself. There is an hour of my life I can't get back... Anyone have a similar story to recount?

We should just impose the death penalty for this. Sexual offenders cannot be reformed and it costs too much to keep them alive in prison.

Symbiotic is a good word. I think TK could structure his business to be successful in most any environment, but CA certainly helps him (I have to believe).

Some may disagree with our methods but Dave and I always have the interests of the community in our hearts.

I'm testing with all missiles upped to the new higher range in NF4+. My suspicion is that a missile has to make numerous check against countermeasures during its flight, so if a missile with CM rejection of 90 has to make 100 checks during its flight, odds are it is going to be decoyed. For all we know the missile is checking every second. At least, that is my guess as to what is going on. I'll ask him though.

One thing I did do was set Specific Station Code F111 to the PaveTack, because the F-111F bomb bay is set that way.
