Note also that the StationIDs for each station you add need to be unique and sequential. The StationGroupID needs to be unique as well, but all of these stations can share the same group ID (that way you load all four stations from one drop-down on the loadout menu). -

Each weapon station needs to be defined as a subcomponent of the fuselage: SystemName[010]=SparrowStation1 SystemName[011]=SparrowStation2 SystemName[012]=SparrowStation3 SystemName[013]=SparrowStation4 The numbers need to be sequential, and the system name should correspond to the name, in brackets, of the weapon station you added, for example: [sparrowStation1] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=6 StationGroupID=4 StationType=SEMI_RECESSED AttachmentPosition=-0.501,5.07,-0.84 AttachmentAngles=2.0,0.0,2.0 MissileRollAngle=45.0 EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0,-2.0 LoadLimit=231.5 AllowedWeaponClass=SAHM AttachmentType=NATO,USAF MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition= [sparrowStation2] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=7 StationGroupID=4 StationType=SEMI_RECESSED AttachmentPosition=0.501,5.07,-0.84 AttachmentAngles=-2.0,0.0,-2.0 MissileRollAngle=45.0 EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0,-2.0 LoadLimit=231.5 AllowedWeaponClass=SAHM AttachmentType=NATO,USAF MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition= [sparrowStation3] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=8 StationGroupID=4 StationType=SEMI_RECESSED AttachmentPosition=-1.08,-0.65,-0.87 AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.0,5.0 MissileRollAngle=45.0 EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0,-2.0 LoadLimit=231.5 AllowedWeaponClass=SAHM AttachmentType=NATO,USAF MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition= [sparrowStation4] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=9 StationGroupID=4 StationType=SEMI_RECESSED AttachmentPosition=1.08,-0.65,-0.87 AttachmentAngles=0.0,2.0,-5.0 MissileRollAngle=45.0 EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0,-2.0 LoadLimit=231.5 AllowedWeaponClass=SAHM AttachmentType=NATO,USAF MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition= -

Yeah pretty straightforward but a god modding project becasue you'll see a lot of how the ini files work, if you haven't messed with them much. -

Sure, you just need to add the missing Sparrow stations. Use the F-4E data ini as a guide. You'll have to add the weapon stations, then add the respective components to the fuselage, then add the missiles to the loadout ini. -

NATO Fighters III Released

80% is when the game is loading objects I think. This could be caused by a corrupted file. I would suggest re-downloading the NF packs and trying again from scratch. -

When exactly does the CTD occur? When you hit the "Campaign" option on the main screen or sometime after? -
TMF MiG-29s Released!

Through some twist of fate, they are exclusively avaialble at C5 for the time being: http://www.column5.us/miragef.shtml By tomorrow morning they should be up at CA as well. The release comes in four packs: Soviet versions, Warsaw Pact versions, Export versions and a special Arab pack for WOI. Enjoy! -
Has anyone done a Buccaneer for tw sims?
column5 replied to Hokum's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
There is some anecdotal talk that seems to indicate that the US Navy looked at the program. Its extremely vague and nothing ever came of it, if this so-called interest ever really existed. -

This and the Lightning are two of the coolest jets produced by anyone during that time, no doubt. As I said, I love it! -

Hey now, stop moving the goal post around! You can't spank what you can't catch was the point. But, as far as endurance, I wouldn't discount the F-111's low-level endurance--it is also equipped with turbofans, which is one of the factors giving the Buc such good low-level economy. But, as I said above, I think your point about the pilot's spending so much time training at low level is the key to the plane's success and the foundation for this mythology surrounding it. -

No one is doubting that it was a great plane but as usual there is a gap between myth and reality. Listening to you guys you would think that the Buc was the only plane in the world that could fly below 250 feet. In fact the A-7 is just as fast at sea level, has better endurance and a better nav/attack system (INS and computer, Buc probably wins on radar). And the US Navy never seriously wanted to buy the Buc over the A-6. If you think about it, that is completely ridiculous--you are suggesting that the USN would trade the most advanced all-weather attack aircraft in the world (at the time) for the Buc? Again, I love this plane and can't wait for it to be in game, but we should deal in reality with regard to it. Skippy is right IMO...its the pilots that make the difference (and their training) more so than the plane itself. -

Both are faster in the weeds than the Buc. The F-105D by almost 200 mph. -
