  1. This plus widesky really transforms WOE visually. Like a whole new game. Thanks CA_Stary!
  2. Agreed--I like to calibrate my TrackIR so I actually have to look down to see the instrument panel. With regard to cockpits, I think a person should either build nice, detailed one or none at all. Use one of the stock pits. Otherwise its pretty nasty and drags down the quality of what might be an otherwise excellent plane.
  3. Almost as ghey as a supa honet...almost...
  4. This is truly amazing. Look at those skyscrapers in the cities!!!! I hate to be the one to report this, but there is one bad tile. Its a coastal tile, and it is bad on at least the winter and spring tile sets. I don't have a shot at the moment, but if you fly along the coast you are sure to see it. Basically it looks like a inland tile jutting out into the water.
  5. Cracked me up

Beware this one is even more offensive...
  6. Good question I will have to load SF2 on my work laptop which I've been using to play with Windows 7.
  7. The USAF would be wise to look into some new-build F-15s. There will never be enough F-22s to support all of our commitments.
  8. Could it be that the Supa Honet is losing the sales game to Sukhoi and other manufacturers, and Boeing is feeling the pinch?
  9. Mystery of the Georgian UAV is solved

    Holy sh*th that is hilarious!
  10. I suppose its a matter of taste but I find it extremely...ugly...when the relatively low-def external model is mixed with the much higher-detail cockpit model. Not that that should deter anyone...I'm just talking to myself...out loud...on the Internet.
  11. Thanks! Right now it is only at c5 (which is part of CA).
  12. After looking at it I have decided not to include any. The map does not lend itself to it, and we are missing certain key aircraft and ships
  13. SEXPLANE SI TEH BIG POWERFULS PLANES JUST LIKE MY LIBBIDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
  14. The Empire that was Russia

I've posted this before a long time back, but I thought since our OFF friends have come on board I would do it again, since it falls into an era or particular interest to them. This is a series of color photographs taken between 1909 and 1912 and in 1915 by Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii. He used an innovative process wherein he took three plates, each on a different color glass, and could then use the plates to project a color image. The plates have been digitally scanned a assembled so that we can see the results. Its amazing and I go back to this site over and over. :) http://www.loc.gov/exhibits/empire/
  15. SI TEH BIGS SEXPLANE TOMACATS SI MY FAVOURITE AIRCRAFTS BECASE I AM A VER SEXUAL MAN AND SI TEH VER SEXUL PLANES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
  16. NATO Fighters IV No. 5 Squadron, working up on the Tornado F3 in late 1986, is hastily dispatched to the continent to defend against the communist hordes!
  17. In my opinion it is the best pit yet done for the TW series. Oh man I can't wait! I want to put this in NF4...
  18. The wait will be worth it...Mago of MiG-29 pit fame is doing the Tomcat pit as well.
  19. Hmm very strange. Are you certain that all of the packs are installing to the same location? Its almost as if NF1 and NF2 are not there...
  20. Damn, sorry that one slipped through. It seems a lot of the auto-open canopies are not working under the latest patch. To fix, open F84-F_DATA.INI and find the [Canopy] entry. Just delete that whole entry and the problem should go away.
  21. When you say no planes, what exactly are you seeing? Can you select them for a campaign, or are they not on the menu? EDIT: I just scanned through the map for the 62 and 68 campaigns and all units were at full strength. Didn't see any with 0 aircraft. Definately need some more info.
  22. Thanks! Of course, I just compiled it. This is really a showcase for the unbelievable work so many people have done over the years.
