If its blue screening all the time, you might have a flaky driver. When it crashes, what does it say caused the crash?

OPEN CANOPIES SECOND POSTING
column5 replied to Veltro2k's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Putting them on manual is really the best way to do it. The most realistic, since canopies don't open and close automatically. -
Vulcan Textures and Loadout with Sep. Patch
column5 replied to Mig_eater's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Honestly I've never looked at the Vulcan skin, my comment was in regard to Gramps' work. Yours is obviously superior. -
Thx!

No movable surfaces on the A-7s, but you can display them with gear up or down, canopy open or closed, and with or without weapons. The F-14s have movable wings. I have an A-6, A-7 and F-14 from them now. Highly recommended.

Century Wings has 1/72nd scale A-7s. The quality is excellent...I have the VA-82 model. I am not aware of any larger scale A-7s. http://www.centurywings.com/top.html

Vulcan Textures and Loadout with Sep. Patch

That is a fairly common complaint when it comes to A-Team releases. The same can be said for most of their stuff. -
The highway airstrip mod has been added and some testing done. Looks like it is going to work great. Really excellent mod.

Rumor is that Putin plans to retire to Fresno and re-open the Cobra Kai dojo.
-
Laughter implies that Chuck Norris actually notices Putin, which is unlikely.

Every time Putin kills a man, an Angel gets its wings.

Putin is like Mr. Miagi and James Bond combined.

F-4N Phantom II

Agreed, I still like that Marine skin with the black tail and VW codes. -

Just goes to show how far we have come--5 years ago, painting on the ECM fairings was adequate. -

Folder name, IIRC. -
Random Transport Type?
column5 replied to Viggen's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mission/Campaign Building Discussion
Defines transports that may appear in flight, in campaign missions, not statics. -
If we could get a Med/Southern Europe terrain, we could do some really neat things. Plenty of room for carriers, too.

Read back through the last couple of pages and you can see some discussion on the inclusion of other countries. Regarding the F-14, new models of all versions are being worked on by Mirage Factory. No release date has been set.
-
They are designed to work together--in fact, you can't use the later ones without the earlier ones. No com mod yet but you never know, eh?
-
Already included in previous installments.
-
Well, Canberras are already in WOE by default even though the RAF ones are incorrect tandem seat models. Ajunaidr's Canberras might make it into a future installment , but not this one. This weekend I experimented with adding a US Navy carrier and air wing to the 1968 campaign. The results are very nice...

The New Sabres
column5 replied to a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Personally I like working at 2048 but in game I often size skins down to 1024. I'd rather that skins were released in high res, where I have the option of sizing down, rather than getting them already in a lower res.
